It might have been covered already but does anyone know what is going on in the small area up the hill from Arcadia? It appears to be being dug up / works taking place, this seems to have been taking place for over a month now

I believe they have just cleared it out and put hardcore down. They have been doing this a lot recently to try and save costs on trackway. It's the backstage area for the Park Stage.

I understand why they do it, but it does seem a shame to cover up green green grass. they did the same on the right of pyramid in 2023.

It could be related to the shooting club. They usually meet up there on the second and last Friday's of the month and have some cabins hidden behind the trees in the park back stage area Somerset Shooting Ground, Steanbow Park Farm, Pilton 

There was a lot of cars parked up there earlier for today's meet
