Definitely puts it into to perspective when the "second stage" is the same as main stages at the other big fests in the country :D

I think it'll also mean that they can get bigger and better acts to headline The Other Stage, who could headline Reading and Download but not necessarily The Pyramid. It lessens the Second Stage status definitely. Very very exciting times actually. The lightshow for The Chemical Brothers will be huge.

Only just over 3 weeks left and I thought there would be so much more done, enjoying watching the progress though.

Won't be long until that fence is joined up.

Looks wet and muddy behind the Pyramid.

(Not that I'm going to get to go behind there! - and it gets covered anyway)

A bit of rain to keep the dust down ;) , as from Wednesday next week MSN weather has going up to 30c by the 8th, that should dry it out a bit :), let's hope it lasts!

Lets hope that, unlike last year, the hot weather doesn't peak to early, it would be nice for a heatwave to hit around 19th June.

I dunno if its my eyes that are just fecked, but the http://glastocam.panomax.com/seems clearer than the BBC website

You can download the current panorama, which are 9160*1848, whereas the image displayed on the website is only 3966*800. The direct link is http://delivery2.panomax.com/processing/jobs/1219873/image.jpg and you can find older images by decreasing the number (trial and error), which seems to usually be around 9 to 12

Who thinks that the GlastoCam should be rotated a little bit more towards the left? It seems to miss out most of the Theatre and Circus and places like West Holts and the Acoustic. I think that the obvious desire of getting the Tor and the valley hinders the practical need by making other places missing out. They could still rotate it by about 7 degrees though and not miss out the Tor.

I think it covers the same area as the old cam/cams

I might be wrong!

I agree - missing stuff on the left. Also, tilt it down a bit - too much sky!

Hear hear etc, I think it's a conspiracy to let them set up in secret

I reckon that's a model of Glastonbury - not the real one. Just like the moon landings.

I increased it with 9, but I'm not sure at what time it snowed last 24 hours in Pilton...

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
