Just looked through my photos from last year, and totally forgot the main reason that path isn't viable is because the entire area is fenced off.

We arrived at the Sticklinch parking lot around noon or 1 last year, and the queue at the Sticklinch entrance was around 10-15 people deep. This queue was definitely shorter/faster than the queue at PGA. We had to pick our tickets up from the international ticket booth, so we had to walk from the Sticklinch parking lot to PGA. As far as we could tell, it wasn't possible to go the way you're planning to go, as there is a house in the way, and we didn't want to walk through someone's yard. I drew a red line on the path we took.

Has anyone else been told to park by PGA to pick up your tickets and parking pass? I have serious doubts that I'll be allowed to simply drive up to the closest parking lot without a pass. They clearly put zero thought behind how to handle people who are arriving internationally.

It has been only been one for a couple of years. I wish they would have given us a procedure for people who are collecting our tickets and parking at the box office.

Were you logged in to efests when you tried to download it? I got the same message when I was logged out.

I'm not sure how I can prove it other than showing screenshots of the app I used to backup the APK file...
