Wonder how many views this thread will have this time next year? lol

My guesses would be:

Biffy Clyro: new album and seems very logical that Glasto would give them the bump up to headliner

Coldplay: new album next year, Neil thought it was them this year, won't have played for 5 years and friends of the festival etc..

Radiohead: big glasto favourites and rumoured every year (although anything off King of Limbs would go down like a lead balloon on the pyramid). Supposed to have new album next year so if they are finally going to do Glasto again surely it would be 2016?

Other bands:

AC/DC: probably still touring and were heavily rumoured for this year

Blur: same as above

Fleetwood Mac: perennial rumour now aren't they?

Adele: new album but after what Emily Eavis has previously said I don't see it

Taylor Swift: definitely more of a likelihood than Adele

The Libertines: seem pretty booked up in 2015 but with new material maybe they could do the pyramid next year?

Ooh I don't think anybody's predicted mine yet.

Rihanna, AC/DC, Coldplay.

For bonus points I'll predict Kendrick Lamar, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and Ellie Goulding to sub and The National, Disclosure and The Prodigy to headline the Other Stage.

    • Interesting the stat guys say 3 points and -3 goal difference is where it gets to 50/50 territory in terms of going to the last 32. If Scotland lose their last 2 at best they are on -1, play like they did yesterday and they could take a heavy loss.   However thinking about it positively get 4 points from the last 2 games and the group is won! Have heard a few saying Scotland should just park the bus next 2 games, but not sure they have the players to do it. From my perspective they could really do with a decent defensive midfielder to add balance, but not sure if they have one in the squad. They also need significantly more from Mctominay who I thought was poor, but understand he has been unwell.
    • Yup and they aren't all going to get them, some are going to miss out. Speaking of this, I met someone at RIP who went to RFP and his view was band wise it's value for money but it wasn't a festival itself he'd be rushing to return to. In fairness as well he probably liked more of the headliners there than me this year whereas I was more undercard and he wasn't returning.
    • Maybe Starmer's legacy will be a war with Russia.
    • How were GnR? Seen some videos and pictures and let's just say, the crowd to the sides at the front and in front of the sound tents were let's just say... Sparse compared to LB.
    • It's a smart move because week after 5 fests already confirmed: Download (not officially), Nova Rock, Greenfield, Mystic, Sweden Rock
