So Glade, Park, West Holts we are thinking? What about Sonic or John Peel? I really can't see a reason to rule him out of any one of those stages. I would think some level of darkness whether from a tent or playing at night is necessary for his visual show.

He'll need at least partial darkness, so any outdoor stage before sundown is out of the question. To be honest, Glade before sundown is out of the question too.

Thing is, he could play any of those stages, really. Posibly a bit too 'weird' for a WH sub, and possibly for Sonic too. Maybe high up on JP, but somehow I doubt it. I could see him subbing the Park like Four Tet did last year, wasn't totally dark when Four Tet started but the sun was on it's way down and was gone completely by the end of his set.

I'm also thinking/hoping for that Park stage Four Tet slot, or Glade headliner ala Jon Hopkins last year. I agree that he is a bit 'weird' for Sonic. Almost too 'musical' for lack of a better word. Hope that is right. I really just have no idea how big he is in the UK. I see that he is playing the 02 Academy Brixton....

it would really need to be Friday or Saturday if he was subbing The Park as it would be too bright with the early finish on Sunday.

yeah, good point. Thinking about it, he seems perfect for that slot. Jon Hopkins or Jamie xx could do it too, but there are more believable alternatives for them to play than there are for Flying Lotus.

Saw him at Lovebox festival a couple years ago, basically in a very large tent, was very good + great light show (being off my nut probably enhanced the experience I guess) Could stick him in the John Peel, that would be good or as others said, the Hell Stage

Few years ago now I was flicking through radio stations and heard Jo Wiley (I think) introduce a tune by a group/person I'd never heard of. She bigged it up and said here is Computer Face, by Flying Lotus. What preceeded was possibly the worst thing I had ever heard in my entire life. I was intrigued by how shocking it was. Since then I've heard a load of people praise Flying Lotus and my musical tastes have seen all sorts of changes. I've not once listened to that track back since literally the week it was brought out. Might give them a blast at Glasto!

It was Los Angeles that got me into Fly Lo. Incredible album. This then got me into the rest of the Brainfeeder/Low End Theory artists like Gaslamp Killer, Daddy Kev, Thundercat, Ras G, Daedelus, Tokimonsta, Lorn.

All incredible artists, who would be great to see all on one stage. I went to a Low End Theory night in London about 2 years ago. Was sooo good. Would love to go to their festival in the states one year.
