I don't see why not, they don't really have as much of a buzz about them like they did circa 2012, plus they played 4th down on the Other Stage at Glastonbury last year.

yeah a few people mentioned it but not sure if they're trolling as they are booked up during almost all of glasto, R&L seems plausible though.

Rivers said "see you at Reading, Leeds, Glastonbury and all the other festivals", so yeah don't read that much into it. Definitely didn't sound like a self confirmation - I think he just means in future.

They did address the fact they hadn't played the UK in a decade though and that we'd be seeing a lot more of them. Would be nice if they announced a winter tour after the brief European jaunt finishes.

edit: also they were excellent. Packed full of the big singalong anthems and the new stuff went down really well. Would've been a hit at a festival really, and they're the perfect R+L band so that should happen soon.

Sorry to quote you, but I don't know how to undo this (even after going on and off, but...) Shut up yi virgin, he was obviously speaking about this years festivals. Rivers also hinted at Weezer bring a good Reading addition a good while back! ( search twitter with: Riverscuomo reading).

A friend of mine emailed Reading Festival to ask when the stage breakdowns would be released and he got a reply - "end of April".

Yeah that makes sense. The next announcement is usually around then, and the poster would be eight foot long if they doubled the amount of acts on it without splitting the stages.

Last year they announced 60 more acts on 21 April 2015. I would expect something similar including stage splits.

chances of yannis crowd surfing? he does it like 70% of the timeto what went down and this is probably the biggest gig they've ever done so i suppose it's likely. but i feel like he's one bad one away from stopping or being told to stop them them because of the danger involved.
