Depends which day he's playing this New Orleans thing, I can't find any confirmation of which acts are playing which day of that festival anywhere.

He's either in Poland on the Thursday, jetting to America to play on the Friday then back to London for Wireless on the Saturday

or, more likely IMO

in Poland on the Thursday, in London on the Saturday, then flying to America for Essence on the Sunday.

But either way he's in Europe in between Glasto and Essence

Oh yeh, actually he's already in the UK for Parklife at the start of June. Depending on where he is for following 2 weekends (ie, if he's staying in Europe until Poland/Wireless) then there's a better chance of him playing!

ps Just checked and Kendrick's website is a right mess, it says he's playing Wireless on both the Friday and Saturday and Open'er isn't even mentioned, wouldn't take much notice of anything said on there really

Don't know if it's been mentioned elsewhere but he's doing BET Experience in LA on the Saturday of Glasto so I think that's effectively him out. Some other decent artists on that bill, some crap ones too!

not necessarily ruled out, he's doing Wireless on the Saturday and then playing New Orleans on the Sunday in July.

playing in Europe one day and in the US the next isn't that unheard of during festival season, and is doable with the time difference. Caribou are doing it in July too, and they've a full lot of gear to take with them. Probably other acts doing similar this year too, I know a few did last year for festivals.

just checked and there's loads of direct flights out of London around 11am on Saturday that get into LA around 3pm Saturday local time, leaving him loads of time to get ready for that night's gig

Judging by his dates, he's have to fly to the UK for a nothing fee, fly back, to fly over again a few days for Wireless when he's already fly over late August for R&L. It's not happening. U2 did it for a headline spot and they stayed in the USA after they returned or around there as far as I know.

ASAP Rocky is playing Bravalla festival in Sweden on the Thursday before Glasto, and then has nothing until Opener festival in Poland the following Wednesday.

He'd be ideal subbing JP i think, he's not the best live act, but from what i've heard from friends who've seen him and seen in performances on youtube is that he's great at hyping the crowd and it always looks like a fun show.

Yeah i think he'd be quite a decent booking, not as good as Kendrick but he's definitely one of the more popular new rappers to emerge in the last few years and would probably draw quite a good crowd on the JP tent

Saw him at Wireless a few years ago and he was great, full of energy and definitely great at hyping the crowd. I'd never really listened to him before that and came away a new fan (also helped that he was following the awful Rizzle Kicks)
