Was wondering where they'd play... I had guessed subbing the other but not based on a great deal - i think the last album was very popular? If not that then headlining john peel or the park?

They were on mid afternoon on the second stage of Latitude in 2012 and haven't released anything since so I doubt they would be that high up.

Really, that surprises me? I've only ever seem them in spain where they got a decent spot/crowd. I'd prefer them at sun down or later/in a tent

Holy moley, you went to a lot of festivals last year, cdm22!

I only mention that because, given where you were, I want to spend all of Glastonbury 2015 watching bands with you...

(*because I'm going on my own and, clearly, we have a considerable mutual appreciation...not because I am a crazed, axe-wielding stalker nutter*)

I seen them tour with that album couple years back in the manchester ritz..impressive gig, be good to see them at glasto this summer..I don't think they have ever played and they got large back catalogue to choose from.

Played 2005, early afternoon on the John Peel I think... was fab anyway, wherever it was.

I'd never heard them before seeing them support kings of Leon a few years ago and they blew me away. Saturdays =youth is fantastic

Yeah same here.

They blew away KoL, which admittedly wasn't that hard, but they definitely would be a welcome addition to the bill

yeah Hurry Up, We're Dreaming definitely could've been cut down to a single disc and been a truly amazing album, but it doesn't really bother me that it's two discs - there aren't particularly any 'filler' songs as such (well, maybe the little one minute interludes). just better and worse songs. my favourite song from the album is Raconte-moi une histoire, which has a little girl talking about a magical frog. such a weird and wonderful uplifting song

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
