FloorFiller
When did Death Cab last play? Would love them there this year have they ever played? a quick Wiki and Google doesn't give any results. they'd be great - probably get lumped mid-Other but i'd love to see them
FloorFiller
also nice to hear that Sufjan's album is a return to his folk roots. i liked the Age Of Adz but much prefer his more acoustic based stuff rather than electronic stuff
FloorFiller
Purity Ring have announced a new album. would be great on the Park or John Peel http://pitchfork.com/news/57736-purity-ring-announce-new-album-another-eternity-share-begin-again/ not really digging the two new songs that much, though. seem to have gone for a bit of a more streamlined / mainstream sound and removed the weirdness of their last album, which is a shame
Tuna
Saw them 3 times on the Shrines tour, always excellent. Hoping they do pop by and hopefully the album is not really represented by these 2 songs

Tuna
Their shows at the end of 2014 were incredible. If they can keep that sound and vibe going it'll be great

Holding out a lot of hope still.
CHRLY
New Slowdive album! Not sure what that's going to be like but it's very exciting anyhow, really hope they turn up on the park. Seeing the likes of When the Sun Hits and Golden Hair at Glastonbury would be incredible. Man I love that band.

FloorFiller
just got round to listening to that new Django Django song. it's okay. not a massive change from the last album, although i really did love that album so have faith that they can deliver another great one
CHRLY
Just listened to the new Panda Bear, didn't strike me that much to be honest. I liked Tropic of Cancer & Principle Real especially though, would probably check him out if he showed up somewhere.

Amy Lawn
New Slowdive album! Not sure what that's going to be like but it's very exciting anyhow, really hope they turn up on the park. Seeing the likes of When the Sun Hits and Golden Hair at Glastonbury would be incredible. Man I love that band. Really? I'm curious to hear that, I'd be interested to see what they do next. Their three existing albums are a pretty much perfect journey through their sound, so I wonder how they'd approach a new record, 20 years after the last one. Slowdive playing When The Sun Hits was one of my highlights from a great year at Latitude last year, the sun was setting as they played, so when I turned round and looked out the back of the tent, the sky was glowing golden, soundtracked by that amazing and appropriate song. I tried to quote someone who put a link on the last page but yeah I'm excited. I'm not a massive fan of Pygmalion, I like it but I much prefer the first two - Souvlaki is one of my absolute favourites.

Sampling perfection, even though I didn't really like the title track the goddamn Chinese Democracy of electronic music (although i guess the same could've been said for Aphex Twin) i loved the title track. have really fond memories of watching the fantastic video on MTV2 as a youngster (along with the Frontier Psychiatrist one)

It's such a crap reason I know, but something about the high pitched voice in Since I left You put me off. Having said that, I listened to the album a few times recently when my mates were discussing an all-time list of electronic albums and it is still up there with the very best. More than 3,500 samples on one record... hard to know how you even go about putting that together
