I thought the Glasgow crowd for Kasabian was fine. There was definitely a MASSIVE "LAD" presence, but they all seemed up for a right good time and up for enjoying it rather than being idiots. Can't remember seeing much in the way of anything even close to bother.

I was very close the back of the standing area and was more bothered because there was a group of 10 or so guys and girls constantly going to buy drinks, waiting for a good song, then chucking a drink into the crowd. I didn't see the point of it, and they were just talking when it was a song like Bow or Clouds.

Then we had two girls in front of us dressed to the 9s elbowing everyone around them to get dancing room which was irritating. I'm actually easily irritated with Glasgow crowds as they flat out ruined Arctic Monkeys for me (the SSEC gig where they had to stop 3/4 times because of the crowd). I do love venues like the Barrowlands, and Kasabian had none of that crap when I saw them at Leeds, that was an amazing atmosphere. Just depends on who you're seeing and where you're seeing them.

You're right though, there wasn't any fights or violence or anything thankfully, more just people being fannies and annoying people around us.

If Kasabian were booked for Leeds, I'd be very interested. If it was for TITP, it wouldn't excite me at all.

I feel that as people get older they're more likely to go to gigs alone. I'd never have considered it when I was like 15/16 but happily would now.

Same here, started going to gigs by myself and I doesn't really bother me anymore. Some people ask me if I'm lonely but I'd rather go alone than not go at all, why should I miss out if others can't make it. That being said I don't go to gigs outside of Sheffield by myself (but that should change next year if I get into Manchester Uni :D )
