Would adore Lorde, don't think she'll be doing much next summer though. Think she's getting onto the next album, just finished her world tour for Pure Heroin.

prediction, Damien Rice v Taylor Swift would kill me :( appreciate it's pretty young-skewing though

Ahh okay, some of it is pretty unrealistic. Frank Ocean on JP, Damon on the park, Slipknot on the other to name a few. Saying that though I would love to see those 3 in those slots.

fair enough :) where do you think Damon would play? to me Everyday Robots just suits The Park's vibe perfectly

I see Damon as probably a West Holts headliner, would fit the park well I suppose but he's way to big. I do hope a lot of the acts you listed end up somewhere on the line up.

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
