I've got my eye on Goo at the Pickle Factory on 14th April, but in the description on RA it says 'Admission is at management's discretion, pre-purchased tickets do not guarantee entry.'

Can anyone who's been give advice - is it just to stop people who've had one too many complaining?

Feels like the FOLD discussion all over again...

Cheers!

From my experienve i have never had any issues getting into Pickle, the doormen are as youd expect to be a little strict but its east london and they get a lot of trouble id imagine. I also think with the location of Pickle in can attract some wayward people.

Id say aslong as youre there for the music, which it sounds like you are, then you wont have an issue. I think that RA statement is purely a contingency for them to deny people who they dont think will be a good person in the club, based on being too drunk or being inappropriate towards others etc.

Enjoy Pickle, had some really good nights there 🙂

I think the thing with Fold is they host queer and fetish nights there, and they’re much more likely to turn people away who they don’t think will “fit in” (haven’t got time to construct a better phrase) on those nights

What's the deal with that guy? He's all over my social media

I really like him hahaha

used to follow him for his car content now he likes sharing off his record collection and shifted his content towards electronic music. Been asked to play in a few places as well it seems.

Looks like the Aussies have bought into him as well.

plus he has got a ticket for the festival this year hahaha

Apart from that mostly happy to wait and see what they have planned…

I'm a bit like that, to be fair. I'd like to see someone like SPF or Dax J on Genosys, Calibre at the Glade and anyone from the Hardcore Energy stable somewhere intimate. Apart from that, I'm just happy to see what they have in store. They never let us down.

And here's another one. Stingray on IICON.

Oh yes!

Top class electro with a real techy side. Where do I sign...?

In fact, after her festival-topping set on Lonely Hearts last year, please can I have Helena Hauff b2b Stingray on IICON?

Mother Earth

ALISHA

Voigtmann

ANOTR

Dr. Banana

Mad.Again

Peggy Gou

Vladimir Dubyshkin

Sikoti

BAKEY

Samba Boys

Floorplan

Jamie Jones

Ben Sterling

and it is very very very unlikely, but would LOVE a sunrise set from Keinemusik

Ha! Yeah won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I kind of got into dance music when the trance scene exploded late nineties.

All I would want is one 90 minute set of trance bangers. Ideally in the Glade Dome.

His b2b with Objekt at Junction 2 was possibly my set of 2023, so if it would be anything like that, I'm in

    • OK, never mind, I'll take normal Nine Inch Nails.
    • Probably my least favourite of the five editions I've been to, but still plenty good enough for me to go again. Weirdly, I was just totally running out of stamina a lot earlier into the night than I remember happening in the past. I feel like I missed a lot of the weirder sets on the smaller stages as I was just totally cooked. Not Primavera's fault, obviously. Maybe I'm just getting old - or maybe I need to pace my drinking better...   Anyway - is David Byrne a realistic get for next year? Certainly hoping so.
    • watching clips of the cure in Barcelona, wow 2 hours 25 minute set. That's gonna be tough on the Sunday but can't bloody wait for it
