As discussed elsewhere, FBS has self-confirmed for one of those mystery sets. So has Annie Mac.

Yep I knew this, but is there another slot still going?

Those two are playing b2b right?

It seems entirely possible that the slits are FBS x Annie Mac and then PHM.

That would fit with the somewhat grand claim of 'making rave history'!

If that means people target Saturday for the Temple making my late run to it from Fever Ray less queue-ey, I'm all for it!

You’d think it would PHM, otherwise it’s an extremely bold claim for FB and AM.

It’s not just eats everything since he does ‘history of rave’ is it?

Nah - hyperbole aside, the wording on The Common's poster suggests something they see as fairly spectacular. And, with no disrespect, EE ain't that!

Thursday
Paranoid London (Levels)
Ki/Ki (Levels)
IMOGEN (Wow)
VTSS (Levels)

Friday night is Temple night (same as last year)
Effy
Liberators
SPFDJ
Altern8 b2b Shadow Child
Saturday
Helena Hauff (Lonely Hearts)
Daniel Avery (Lonely Hearts)
Scalping (Truth)
Sunday
Young Padawan (Glade Dome)
Lorraine (Glade Dome)
Phil Hartnoll (Flying Bus)
Maybe Mandidextrous as the lively finish (Nowhere)

☝️

The influence of this thread is rubbing off and I appear to be turning into a less energetic version of Benny.

These are very dependent on fitness levels and the going is no worse than Good to Soft.

listening to elkka's dj kicks and i'm thinking this will be the perfect warm-up for chems

Excited for this too prior to chems, really like elkka but probably wouldn't bother otherwise so quite happy about her being on before them

temple is too small for skx x 4tet x fa ?!?!

can easily be shut off

Thing is they were hinting at being booked during their first shows in London.

Obviously since then they’ve gone stratospheric, but could they have been booked before this??

Temple is actually perfect in terms of keeping the crowds controlled as well, limited numbers so if you’re not “in” you’ll have to go elsewhere.

Each one solo even prior to the london shows was far too big for temple tbh. Fred had just done 3 brixton shows, four tet 4 a few months earlier and skrillex could no doubt do a few too

Yeah they’re all big for The Temple, but if anywhere has a history or getting bigger acts in smaller slots it’s Glasto.

Calvin Harris and The Churnups prime examples.

Not saying PHM are deffo doing it, but not beyond the realms of possibility it was signed and sealed before they went huge.

I don't think its a question of before or after - they were already huge. Its whether they want to do it or not.

Its clearly not all 3 anyway, and if its 2 of them then its logically fred and four tet.

although maybe its a bluff as if it said b2b2b then it would be obvious perhaps?

I've been told that one's no longer happening due to "circumstances beyond theirs and Skream's control"

Makes sense given the venue size and not wanting to block off that markets strip when word got out

Skrillex has a show in Bucharest on the Friday as well so he will be in Europe.

Could easily see PHM doing a show somewhere on the Saturday, think I'm gonna head there just in case.

Do we know if that'll be the 3 am slot or the 12 slot?

I'd imagine it'll be the 12 one. As FBS is rumoured for the other slot and is playing on the Park around 12

More choice this year than ever before, but a kinda rough plan is.......

Thursday

Sarah Story (Stonebridge)
Girls Don't Sync (Glade)
Palms Trax b2b Job Jobse (The Levels)
Paranoid London (The Levels)
Ki/Ki (The Levels)
Nia Archives (Nowhere)

* Few newbies in our team this year so we may attempt to get into The Temple for a DnB hit, but I think chances of gaining access without queueing for ages are minimal

Friday

Jayda G (The Levels)
Fred Again (The Other)
Glitterbox Takeover (Greenpeace)
DJ Boring (San Remo)
HAAI (San Remo)
Yung Sungh (Iicon)

Saturday

Elkka (Platform 23)
Optimo (San Remo)
Barry Can't Swim (Stonebridge)
Skream (Nowhere)

Sunday

K-Klass (The Glade)
Young Marco (The Wow)
Daphni (The Levels)
I. Jordan (Stonebridge)
Sherelle (Stonebridge)

If I do even 50% of this it'll be a top festival!

    • Same here, I kept trying to go on A View From My Seat to see if each block was worth it. So vague!
    • Ok, I’ve had time to process the experience now, so here is my review.   The good Barcelona - what a beautiful place! What lovely people! The city was like another headliner. Stayed in El Poblenou, and the bars, cafes and restaurants were perfect. Avalanches - Absolutely spectacular, euphoric set. Fantastic stage. Possibly enhanced by substances that I timed right, for a change. Added bonus that I don’t really remember the queue. The Cure - I’ve been a fan for 34 years, and never got round to seeing them, so this was a dream come true. The XX - The sound was exceptional. The lights and setlist perfect, giving each member their moment. Was really loud where I was standing (between the front and the sound desk), but i didn’t notice any chatters - even during the quieter moments. Also loved Men I Trust, .bd. , Big Thief, NewDad and Gorillaz. The food within Parc Del Fòrum was also a lot better than I was expecting.   The bad People talking non-stop throughout some of the sets, and shouting to be heard over the music. I had to move 3 times during Wet Leg just to be able to hear the band over the crowd. It’s probably an age thing, but I just don’t understand it. You’ve paid how much to watch these acts, and now you’re standing with your back to the stage, missing the music and ruining the experience for everyone else? Odd behaviour.   The weather apocalypse on Thursday. I genuinely thought I would be able to tough it out. I couldn’t. Left after Geese. The lack of communication from Primavera didn’t help.   Whilst it was lovely to be by the sea, and the sunsets were very pretty, the site is a bit…concrete-y, isn’t it? I kind of longed for some grass and trees. Often found ourselves standing on the steps by the Adidas yard by some bamboo. This was probably a subconscious need for some nature. The fact that some of the nature included cockroaches did not negatively affect the experience.   My daughter, for running away when she saw the drug dogs in the queue on Thursday, meaning that I lost her for the whole evening. She hid her stash under a bench, and it miraculously survived the storms.   Also, can someone explain the point in having a wristband, when you still have to show your ticket every time you enter and leave the site?   Finally, I would like to nominate myself as one of the bad things about this year’s Primabera. I should have done Primavera a lot better. It was my first one, so I’m still learning, but I think I left too early on the Thursday. Left after the Cure on Friday, so I would be full of energy on Saturday, and then barely made it to the end of Gorillaz anyway, meaning I missed Overmono, Skrillex, Skullcrusher, Kneecap, and a few more I would have liked to see.   All in all Amazing lineup. Decent food options. Cupra and Cupra Pulse stages were very impressive. Weather was perfect for 3 out of the 4 days i attended.   It was always likely to be a ‘one and done’ for me, but we had a blast, even if I am starting to get too old for all this.
    • That Wednesday Razzmatazz slot is one of the best/prime slots!
    • If they fancy chucking something together last knockings, i'm up for it! 😄 Got to get a cat sitter, but i'm 95% there
    • Yes, that's why I think Interpol would be a good fit for the Wednesday so that they don't take up a prime Mordor slot on the other days.
