I certainly don't think I had any complaints about anything, plenty of praise for Genosys and The Temple, both incredible sounds this year

Completly agree and arcadia was great as well

Actually yeah, everywhere did sound really good.

Did anyone check out Bez's Flying Bus? I quite liked it, made far more sense than having two virtually identical tents right next to each other.

I was there all Saturday night from about 12:30. When I saw it in the day time I was really unimpressed, but it really worked at night. The lighting was simple, but really effective.

Mike Pickering was excellent, 808 State was great. Carl Cox was pretty poor. He was excellent the night before at Arcadia, but he wasn't too good at the Bus. I was going to leave, but Shangri la was a fucker to get through and I was pretty hammered so I stayed.

Prosumer and honey soundsystem were great at genosys, wanted to catch them again but didn't make it into NYC downlow at all this year with the crowds.

Out of interest do people not keep their moustaches? I always find an early visit to get one always pays off as never then really have to queue for more than a few minutes.

Come down has hit me hard today. Been relatively fine up to this point but now :(

Yeah, good set and the sound was stellar. Wasn't as busy as I expected which was a welcome treat after the previous few nights.

only sound issues i encountered were in the beat hotel, for four tet and floating points there it was abysmal. also caught the first bit of the ben ufo, midland and joy o b2b and wasnt impressed with sound then either really.

i also failed with the downlow, must remember to go there on wednesday next year to get a moustache!

i really enjoyed all that stonebridge bar had to offer, it was a great change from the SE corner as you could usually get in no matter what time and the line up & sound was quality. spent thursday there for the moxie joy o bashmore session which was great fun. altho the sound got better once it got to friday onwards, thursday was a little quiet.

bicep outdoors on friday was really really good and there was also this clothing tent opposite that was banging it out all weekend that we went into after bicep finished! got to hot chip prince on friday but we left as my partner wasnt feeling great. it was OK but nothing special really.

Got to mention although not really electronica / dance how great both jarvis cocker and Superhans were on stonebridge! was fantastic pre and post floating points live. Also enjoyed Vessels on glade, I wanted to get down the front but mates wanted to stay a bit further back. Thought they did themselves proud.

My set of the weekend had to be four tet morning side though! it was so brilliant. Saturday night went to four tet FP at beat hotel not impressed (they were playing rolling house for some reason rather than their usual style and the sound was shit) so went to south east corner, managed to go in the Cave in common which had Perc & Truss playing and that was actually really really great! some hard techno but it was party as well with bits of acid too. loads of room in the tent once you get inside the cave and it has its own toilets. Under rated!! I should in hindsight have stayed there for sunil sharpe but went back to block 9 to see if i could get in the downlow but no.... so went back to park caught the end of floating points and he was fantastic as ever.

Sunday nothing much electronic other than LCD. we were going to try the temple but decided to go for charlotte church pop dungeon and i regret NOTHING as it was amazing. ended up with the last chimes of arcadia before i slumped off to bed, i think stantons were playing, it was OK. Arcadia is still really impressive TBF as a spectacle, I never really spend any time there!

Do they have toilets the Common now or have I read that wrong? Main reason I didn't queue up there this year!

See I've sort of avoided this thread for embarrassment of just how much I missed out on... I was with a largish group of nyc downlow stalwarts so we ended up spending a lot of time there (no bad thing in my book).

Thursday was Beat Hotel for Seth b2b Tiga - memory is very hazy of what happened after but was fun I'm sure :)

No headliner Friday so Beat Hotel for Midland b2b Ben ufo b2b joy Orbison then hot chip remembers prince then Downlow for roger Sanchez and honey dijon til close.

Saturday was a friends 30th and as we were in such a big group Genosys was the only real option to avoid queuing. Didn't really get into Joey Beltram to be honest. If you saw any unicorns around block 9 that night it was us. Managed to sneak into Downlow for last bit of the Black Madonna and Tama Sumo.

After LCD on Sunday (no words) we hung around the cabaret field to recover then to Downlow again. Really good night but the bar seemed to close early and they ran out of water in the vat type thing keep on the bar and refused to fill it up. It was dangerously hot so we ended up having to take bottles of tonic water from the fridge and share it out ourselves.

Not the best run down but in my defence I am still struggling! Hoping to achieve more breadth of experience at Farr in a couple of weeks.

To be fair though, I probably wouldn't change a thing :)

I've just watched back highlights of Tame Impala, and saw a group of girls in the absolute full unicorn get up on people's shoulders, was that you?

nope, there are toilets in The Common, they're in The Cave.

I never went in the cave this year, did anyone see Sunil Sharpe?

They were letting people out of The Temple to the toilets by the exit under the DJ toward the rum shack and then letting them back in, they seemed strict about it though

They were making people queue to get back in on the Thursday during the cold cut set , pain in the arse!

my friends went, said he absolutely smashed it. utterly banging techno, great vibe in there and not too packed. Perc & Truss before him were great too they said.

unfortunately my feet were in utter agony by 1am and I couldn't bear trekking down to the SE corner at the time. went back to the tent for a rest before going to meet them for Sunil but fell asleep not long after i had kicked off my boots :(

He was cracking! More than made up for missing the black Madonna, just proper banging techno!

Thought Paul Kalkbrenner at Arcadia was excellent - the perfect end to the festival and now I've become a bit obsessed with his back catalogue. Arcadia sound was superb this year, as was Genosys. Went to to NYC Downlow a couple of times - love it there. Also was at Bez's Flying Bus on  Saturday night @fuzzydunlop - didn't stay for Carl Cox though. Tried to get into the Glade a couple of times to check out the new sound set-up but was too rammed to get within the speakers and I hate the feeling of not being able to get out easily. Stumbled into DJ Pony set at The Spike Saturday afternoon. Was brilliant fun - also love the way you can really feel the bass through the floor in The Spike.

One of my friends majorly started freaking out about 3am and we were never going to leave him to go back to the tent himself so we packed it in, shame it definitely had the makings of a good night

You didn't miss much.

I have been the biggest Carl Cox fan on here and he wasn't good on Saturday.... but was fantastic on Friday. I was disappointed in him on Saturday.

No not us - obviously a popular get up this year! We were a group of mainly boys and split between chvrches/adele and James Blake (where I was) then block 9.

Maybe he hit the Glasto wall - we all do at some point over the five days ;-)

I seen 5 minutes of Carl Cox at Arcadia but it was too packed, sounded decent though

About 20 minutes of him at The Glade between Chvrches and New Order and I thought he was great

Then seen him at Bez's Saturday night for about 50-60 minutes and I thought he was brilliant, it was my favourite night but I was sloshed by that point and was just happy to be at a stage without 'that' much quicksandy mud and plenty of space to dance. Everywhere else I went was just a disaster
