Has anyone ever been to one of the NYE ones? Always end up in some shithole on NYE so tempted to do exactly the same and go to the whp

fixed that for you!

We did a NYD warehouse project years ago. It was good actually. Not as busy

Hmm might try that instead then. Wanted to do the Floating Points/Four Tet one really but sold out pretty quickly, plus friends will be away at uni anyway

As for WHP, just Feel My Bicep for me, the line up for it is as good as I could ever imagine and a nice December time trip down to Manchester for me, will make a few days of it.

A few days of it? There is bugger all to do around here mate!

Manchester Christmas markets are pretty well renowned. They put a lot into them, are all over the city too. To be fair they go to town on it, more than anywhere else I've seen. They get far far too busy though, especially Albert Square (the town hall). If you are going to go, go during the day (Friday afternoon) and it is enjoyable - but expensive.

Otherwise... Oxford road. Student areas. Cheaper booze would be my bet.

I haven't had a road trip (which isn't London) for a gig or club for a while, I have done Glasgow a few times for the Arches years ago. Is that still open?

United play Spurs at home on the Saturday before WHP, if that's an early kick off which it's likely to be we'll head there, if it's 5:30 then that'll be out the window. ******

The Arches shut down last year, there was a couple of young drug related deaths and it shut down. A terrible game, we've still got Subclub which is obviously the place to be, but The Arches was a massive part of the city. It began to attract the wrong crowd, young people there purely to take drugs, it was never going to end well, a real shame though it ended the way it did

******just seen its the Sunday after which works out even better

+1 for NYD>NYE. For London folk, Hydra NYD is always really fucking good. Speaking of which, Hydra 5 (and final?) lineup is coming soon...

yesss fully agree

I absolutely love the Hydra, they are without a doubt the best party promoters

Hydra at studio spaces - best parties in London!

Could we possibly get a villalobos set closing the temple next year?

I get goosebumps just thinking about it, would be an incredibly wacky and weird experience!

As good as it would be, I'm not sure I could see it happening, I don't really have much to base it on rather than personal feeling that it wouldn't be someone as big as that

Concur. Hydra NYD is the one.

Been away from these parts for a while due to Farr recovery and ridiculous work. But just back to say Moodymann @ Studio Spaces 26th November! Who are we thinking the special guest might be? Don't dare to think Omar-S...

I've been looking at that, think I might have to get myself a ticket, it is the weekend of my birthday after all.

First release @ £15 a ticket - would be foolish not too.

I have just realised I have something I can't get out of the night of Moodymann. Had free tickets to Sunfall which I couldn't make and now this. Devastated.

Whhat are people's top picks until the end of the year? Need some inspiration.
