The crowd was even more London than London has ever experienced, unreal, it was a bit loud and chatty at times too, but still had a great time

I never had a problem with the crowds over the weekend really, certainly better than the last time I went a couple of years ago. Yeah it was chatty at times, but it's a festival so I never expect it to be as quiet as a normal gig. Maybe I'm just mellowing in my old age.

Has anyone seen Ten Walls' homophobic rant on Facebook? What an absolute c**t.

He is being drop like a hot snot from all the festivals he was due to do.

Think he came out and apologised and is now officially "on a break"

Bloke's a fucking arse and he could do with fucking off for good now...........

  • 2 weeks later...

in case anyone was going to go, Jackmaster in the Greenpeace Engine Room on Thursday at 02:00 is a mistake according to him on twitter.

this reads like a secret JESuS set though, but I can't really figure out where/when it would be from looking at the lineup?

@_ciaranl_ I'm playing free peace another night with some mates

Really fancy that Robert Hood set but this is the first year I have to drive on the Monday and I know that'll be on my mind come the early hours of the morning!

I don't know what time you're planning on leaving, but you can take it fairly easy, be tucked up in bed by 4:30 and get a good few hours sleep in before leaving late morning/afternoon.

I thank the lord and saviour of all things techno for the coach and all those that drive one.

I had to go to page 7 to find the thread!

Right, team, I've done a lot of homework and planning, but now I am at the point of needing some expert recs for Saturday and Sunday nights.

You know by now what I like: techno (minimalist is best!), bleepy, squelchy stuff.

Not cheesy. Can handle a bit of good deep Ibiza sound.

Anyway, quote me happy, guys.

Thanks

Yes, I'm planning to charm my way to centre point beneath the spider straight after Hot Chip, hitting up a Maceo Plex>Pan Pot>Adam Beyer holy trinity (though a bit of me is sad not to be seeing Phuture live on Genosys).

Will check out Thursday's Blues line-up - ta!

OMFG, Fuzzy, that is unbelievable! I cannot stop my feet moving...I am so there on Thursday!!

:)

Thought you'd like that. Having been to circo loco in ibiza a lot, my tip would be, don't get there too early. It's often more progressive early on and builds up. Early on you could get a false impression. Im going to try and be there for the 3 ladt 3 hours. I think it will be a lot better than the shangri la / block 9 from a music point of view.

Top tip. On it, Fuzzy, and yes, you called that perfectly for me.

Beforehand, you could head to the glade for Jon Rundell and Nic Fanciulli.

This is an event I was at in Holland, it may be something else you would like....

Good techno is something under respresented at glastonbury. Im pleased to say this year I can find some.

As mentioned before, Beat Hotel Sunday is your best friend, as well as Robert Hood on Genosys, Bicep in the Temple. If you're still going after those, Jackmaster B2B Joy O in the Temple will also be good, and probably a little bit emotional.

As for Saturday, I've only really got Prosumer/Four Tet at Genosys for stuff I want to check out. In terms of the dancier stuff, the people I'm with know it way better than I do. I've got the daytime sorted though! :)

Sunday we're absolutely spoiled for choice, aren't we? Mad

    • I have no issue with the Primavera crowd in most respects. They’re always friendly, respectful and no hint that there could be trouble at any point.   However…the talking is horrific here. The xx was pretty much ruined for me due to people having conversations with their mates the whole way through. Noticed it from all different nationalities across the weekend…English, Irish, Spanish etc. There seems to be no understanding of the nuances of when it’s okay to talk and when it isn’t. And obviously the sound being quiet at a lot of spots on the main stages exacerbates the issue. That alone has made me reconsider whether I will be coming back, it would probably take a lineup as good as this year (unlikely)

    • I found the vibe a little different to recent editions.. definitely an older crowd, less queer, less Spanish.. certainly has something to do with the lack of Glastonbury this year. And I felt Saturday was a little overcrowded. I‘ve never seen Mordor as full as last night for the xx and Gorillaz. Did not enjoy that too much.
    • Not my favourite year either, despite liking the lineup more than previous years. Not sure what it was, I guess Thursday really put the brakes on things. But yeah I'll be back next year hopefully. And maybe Massive Attack will return...
    • E-mail summarizing Saturday - Primavera Sound 2026 Journal Day 3. As in previous days, it's going to be on the website soon, I think.
