That is very exciting news, some of his line ups for the residency at XOYO are brilliant.

His one on this upcoming Saturday is the great! He's bringing along Four Tet, Floating Point and Ade (founder and owner of plastic people) should be a great party, not a chance I am going to miss it

Clark! I remember he was on my wish list for last year, completely forgot about him this time round. That would be a great booking.

Big time.

To be honest I couldn't believe how good the lineup of DJs was last year across the festival.

I've been at many exclusively dance festivals over the years with lineups not as good.

Granted, you couldn't fit them all in and they were spread out all over the place, but if you like your beats, you were well served.

Hoping for more of the same

Edit: Just to add I think Fort Romeau's new album is really good.... Worth checking out

Squarepusher would be great addition I think too. Especially on the Glade. Saw him at the Bangface Weekender last month. He was unreal. Definitely one of the best sets I've seen from him. His new album is pretty beastly actually.

I've heard it's good. Must check it out.

He's been playing Glasto since I've been going I think and that's nearly 20 years.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think I recall seeing him roundabout 1999 and since as well.

Good chance he'll be back

Soo happy that J.E.S.&.S are playing, been wanting to see them for ages ever since I saw their Boiler Room set. A bit gutted they are in Shangri-La though as I reckon it will be absolutely rammed. Hope that the Solomun rumour comes through as well.

I reckon they'll play more than just Shangri La. Seth and Eats did a handful of sets each across the fest last year. I'm hoping for a Beat Hotel set, that would be epic. I reckon they're popular enough now to even sub a headliner at Arcadia too?

Yeah, I reckon there would be plenty of opportunity to see them other than Shangri - La. The Eats, Jackmaster, Skream, Troxler quatro will make them popular anywhere they play so I reckon subbing at Arcadia is a shout.

Would love to see Eats Everything himself do an early morning set somewhere, remember him doing that with a bunch of others in 2013.

    • No worries, it's a perfectly fair question to ask. I would expect people to be talking at the back & near the bars & that is where I would want them to be talking. If your group are enjoying yourselves & the music & briefly chatting to say how much you are loving a certain song etc, you would be an ideal group to stand behind.   My issue is with people having full blown conversations (usually unrelated what is on the stage) whilst being surrounded by people who are trying to listen to the music. This was happening in the middle and towards the front of all stages, & so you have limited options to move around & you may have spent 20 minutes waiting for the band trying to get the closest position that you can. If there's a group of 8 people, there may be 2 or 3 that like the band & the rest will start talking if the music isn't their thing. This may be the norm now for festivals, and if it is, that's ok & I will focus on a band's own gigs & UK based new music festivals.    I'm also not including consequences of my own decision making. I saw Geese on Wednesday so went to Occident after Men I Trust finished so it was understandable there would be chatting that far back. Similarly, getting to The XX after Olivia Rodrigo along with most of the site, I knew my chance of a good spot & a chat-free zone had gone so that was completely reasonable.   PS. I went to Bilbao BBK in 2023 & 2025 & enjoyed it. For Pulp & Kylie in 2025, I got a position early & was surrounded by a respectful & fun crowd for both. The UK non-headlining bands tend to go on the undercover 3rd stage, & most people like to congregate outside so you can usually get close to the front of that stage.
    • Interview on 6 music earlier, was going to get the album to have a listen, but comes out the day they play the festival
    • Additional dates added already
    • I feel like it's not COMPLETELY beyond the realm of possibility that they could headline but I just don't see it.    They're not doing anything other than headlining. So nah, I don't see it.
    • Consider that the sound quality can be better near the front bars right behind the soundbooth rather than closer to the stage, like with mbv. And of course, the front sections are full of talkers too.   The most courteous move would be to have conversations in the very back of the field.
