the who closed the main stage in 2006 and to be honest there was not a big audience for them watching, i doubt they put em on the main again ever. The even had to put them in a smaller venue a while later during their indoor tour cause they didnt sell much tickets to fill the original venue.

Do you think there will be rush for the combi tickets this year, because of muse and FF? what are the reaction at Belgium towards RW?

also, do you think the combi vs day tickets ratio will be the pretty much the same ? The ticket price jumped up pretty much for day tickets (precenage-wise)

Bought my ticket in the pre-sale this morning, no point delaying the inevitable. Had a laugh trying to find my country to select, looked for United Kingdom as it usually is but nothing, then Britain, Scotland.... ended up just selecting "Engelande" which then showed up on my confimation as United Kingdom anyway.... not confusing at all for us Scots. Or maybe that's just me :girlcrazy:

No announcement today ? :(

You'd think they'd be itching to announce something better than Pharrell and Alt-J with pre-sale starting today. Despite the fact I'll end up going regardless, I'm still holding out to buy my tickets until they announce a few more worthwhile bands, it's a matter of principal. I guess the other headliners aren't ready to announce European festivals yet?

As I didn't get Glasto tickets a group of us are seriously considering this.

Where do I fly to ?

How do I get to site ?

Is the camping ok ?

fly to brussels central.

get a train to leuven from brussels central station and then shuttle bus (both free)

camping is fantastic. plenty of space and lots of nice people. very relaxed.

camping in a tent when its 37 degrees out however is horrendous

i'd be well happy with this lineup but i doubt a few things.

dont think editors will be back until a new album is out (hope i'm wrong)

also dont know how much noel Gs ego will get in the way of subbing to muse.

surely FNM would play higher than barn no ?

Let Editors stay away please, even with a new album. We're slowly growing tired of them, so I can only see them returning in coheadlining structure with a popular headliner (something like QOTSA, certainly not Pharrell).

Noel played 4th down to a not so enthusiastic crowd in 2012, he shouldn't be complaining about even being 4th down again. I'm guessing Barn headliner.

FNM deserve to be higher yes. But can you see their music appealing to the average Werchter visitor? I'd love to see them right before Pharrell. A pissed off Mike Patton vs an innocent young crowd, should be fun.

Love to see Coldplay there but didn't they say they weren't gonna tour Ghost Stories apart from the 5 or so shows they did earlier in the year?

They definitely did around the time of it's release, but I've seen a few people on here talk about them doing a stadium tour next summer, though I don't think there's anything to suggest they definitely will.

    • I’ve said it elsewhere too but Emily Eavis said a 2028 headliner was booked, to me that’s only going to be someone the size of Oasis or Taylor Swift
    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
