Anyone know what parking provision is like? Toying with driving from the UK and getting Hive camping

I drove from UK last year and parking was fine, paid at the entrance and got a sticker on the windscreen so you could leave and come back if you wished. Plenty of spaces and the walk to the campsite wasn't far either. We got there on the Wednesday and were camping in the hive. Doing the same again this year.

you guys are saying the last headliner ...

i'm under the impression that foos are the only announced outright headliner no ?

and muse sorry

meaning theres still two main headliners to come plus sub/co/dance headliners

the RW site does say that Pharrell brings the headliner count to three. But a lot of people think he'll be co-headlining?

I hope every afternoon at 4.00 that there is some news, or an act announced. Because there's got to be something sooner or later because I can't see why they'd have the Saturday day tickets on sale. Seems very strange. It's either going to be massive or they can't find a decent headliner, even then I'd have thought they'd announce a few smaller acts just to entice some people to buy.

Unfortunately I'm inclined to think it's probably the latter. The idea of putting the tickets on sale with absolutely no one announced for the Saturday just doesn't make any sense? Maybe it's the date change that's thrown things out of sync? I think Foo Fighters are pretty massive, can't think of many people that are would top them? It's frustrating 'cause me and a couple of mates are on the edge of getting tickets but just a few more names please!

Hopefully they won't call Editors and ask them to headline Saturday....

Would be great if Coldplay and Radiohead showed up. Hoping for Lenny Kravitz, Smashing Pumpkins, Faith no More & Slash (since those last two still don't appear on Graspop poster).

Editors are working on a new album so wouldn't be surprised if they take the summer off from festivaling. Coldplay/Radiohead would be great though

Reckon that The Black Keys will headline Saturday or co-headline friday with Pharrell

They had a poorly received show as subs in 2014 and the ticket sales to their 2015 arena show aren't going any better. If Black Keys return, it'll have to be in coheadlining construction with a bigger act than Pharrell. That is if.

I'd say a large part of the Black Keys reaction this year was the bloody rain. It started to get very heavy around the time they were coming on/playing, so it was hard to really enjoy it.

Regarding any possible future announcements, well Lenny Kravitz has announced a Rome gig. I know its end of July, but he is around Europe anyway. Also, if there is to be an announcement soon, he is playing at Xfactor on Saturday night. Normally acts who do that have some form of tour to announce/album to promote, so I can see his name appearing if he doesn't do Boutique/Classic!

Read somewhere Pinkpop 8/12 name could be Paul McCartney...

... what do you think about it?

It makes sense. It's a public secret that McCartney had a deal with Pinkpop in 2013, but he bailed out because Bonnaroo offered him more money. Perhaps he's making up for that with a pretty exclusive festival performance. Since he won't be at RW, I can see him doing TW Classic/Boutique.

    • I’ve said it elsewhere too but Emily Eavis said a 2028 headliner was booked, to me that’s only going to be someone the size of Oasis or Taylor Swift
    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
