Ecxept that Bodycount was in the GMM announcement AND on the poster....and GMM are still missing one Main Stage 2 headliner.

No no, I meant Festileaks 'source' confirming that Royal Blood, FNM and Underworld will play RW. There is indeed one headliner missing, but FNM has been announced for several other fests recently, I can't see why GMM would throw out 40+ names but still hide them.

And the poster has been denounced a fake for weeks now. I can give like 10 reasons why it is totally wrong.

I was hoping for Mötley Crue but if they were to play, why didn't they announce them today?

Also, I noticed that Marilyn Manson and Limp Bizkit were not in the GMM announcement, both bands RW bound?

Slash is missing too.. Either GMM still owes us a lot of names we had already been expecting, or they're doing a poor job considering they're in the same weekend as Hellfest.

Either way, I'd be surprised if all those missing names end up at RW. GMM visitors are already extremely mad at the Werchter organisers because of the moved dates for a 'bland headliner', booking quite some names that were expected for GMM would be taking the piss..

Where on the line up would Faith No More play at RW? Would love to see them there along with all the names missing from the GMM announcement (especially Marilyn Manson!)

I also reckon Oscar and the Wolf would be a good shout again for this year, hopefully a bit further up the line up now that the album is out.

Morning people. Me and a couple of mates seriously considering RW next year. We did Bilbao BBK Live '13 and loved it. We were considering driving there and back... We live in the Midlands in the UK anyone done it before? Any other cheap easy options?

I drove last year from Scotland, we packed the car up with camping gear and got the overnight ferry from Newcastle to Ijmuiden on the Tuesday and drove to the festival site on the Wednesday. We were there for the gates opening and got everything all set up and chilled for the night in the Hive before the festival starting on the Thursday. Then the same back on the Monday, arriving home the Tuesday. Would definitely recommend it, we are planning on doing it the same this year :)

After the Graspop announcement I'm hoping for a Thursday looking along the lines of:

Underworld

Foo Fighters

Slash

Royal Blood

Rise Against

Also if we picked up some of the non announced acts for GMM that have been mentioned but we had some pop like last year it won't be such a hard blow as there'd be more of a mix, which is what I hope Werchter are thinking

That leaked poster seems more legit with the new rumours. Only Tenacious D confuses me and there's no news about The National tour next summer. It seems someone from the organisation leaked the main plan. We can talk on that names which are:

U2

Kasabian

The Black Keys

Jack White

Deadmau5

Interpol

Afghan Whigs

Has anyone been from the UK and could they give me info on travel expenses? Where to fly from and to? Spending money while there? and How much did you're accommodation cost? Also iv heard the festival is far away from everything so how do you go about getting to the festival? Thanks, any info will be greatly appreciated :)

Get a bus or the Eurostar to Brussels. Bus is very cheap but if you don't wanna be travelling that long go with Eurostar. You then get a free train and shuttle bus to the festival with your festival ticket from anywhere in Belgium (Brussels in this case). Really easy and really cheap. I worked out the year I went that I could get the festival ticket and travel all the way from home for cheaper than it would cost me to buy a Leeds ticket and travel there (and Leeds is my closest festival).

Leeds is also my closest festival so this makes me feel warm inside, how much did you spend all together like

Not sure actually; can't remember how much the travel was at all. But just have a look now how much you can get a bus/train to Brussels for if you book as far in advance as possible.

Food and drink is the same as any festival, really.

I'd say including travel and everything you'd probably spend around the same as you would going to Leeds (if you've been to Leeds?). So if the lineup appeals more than the ones at UK festivals I'd go for it :)

The poster is a clear fake. Like someone said earlier: an educated guess/wish list, 3/4 of those names already had concrete tour/album plans for 2015 when that poster leaked. Not to mention that there's several versions of that poster going round, each time adapted to the latest rumours.

In the end me and my mate got the coach for about £36, we could have got it about a tenner cheaper earlier but we had to wait for our new passports to get processed. If you get the coach to London, and then London to Antwerp (cheaper than going to Brussels I believe) you can get it for probably under £30 return in total.

    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
    • All I'm asking for is Rancid
    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
