the thinking is that the initial headliner plan (possibly Prince) has fallen through and so the organisers have gone to other acts active in the area - Fleetwood Mac don't do three nights on the trot, so seem very unlikely, but Blur seem incredibly likely what with Damon having already done the fest a favour with Gorillaz in '10 and playing BST a week earlier

Word from Neil is that there's a chance that the third headliner may only have been sorted within the last week or so, meaning anything said by either act previously would have been true at the time. The word is that the (apparent) announcement on Wednesday won't include a headliner, likely due to contractual reasons.

Hopefully Prince has fucked them around again and for the last time, you'd like to think that headlining Glastonbury would actually mean something to them and the privelage is enough, even Kanye West seems to acknowledge that

Also there's no reason to delay their announcement. The third headliner wont be in the announcement on Wednesday (if it comes on Wednesday) so there's obviously got to be a reason for that.
