I think it may be Macca now. Can't see him touring for much longer and backs up eavis statement of British with American band. Exclusivity doesn't mean all to much as we saw with Metallica.

I don't trust anything ME says, if 'April 1st' is anything to go by.

What in the name of all that is holy, is a selfnosh?

Goodness me.

According to the OED, 'the past tense of one who has self fellated...possibly enabled by having a rib removed solely for that purpose'.

And 'a weird fondness for inexplicably resurrecting Sheena Easton's [and i don't mean this in a thatcrazypenguin way] 'career'.'

Excellent.

I shall endeavour to use 'selfnosh' in one of the conference calls I've got tomorrow.

"Yes. I've updated the CR log and closed off the completed actions. AS have confirmed they have selfnoshed the IT configuration requirements".

Wonder if anyone will notice?

don't think so. if it's not tomorrow, then Tuesday is my next guess.

as said earlier though, they did it on a bank holiday before, so no reason it can't be Monday either....

I don't think any day is really off the cards, but tomorrow or the 6th are definitely the only normal days.

    • I love this festival but Mordor has got worse and worse to the point now that I dread going there. 10 years ago there just weren’t as many people, as many bottlenecks and there wasnt the need to arrive early to have a decent spot.
    • Aren't they against touring?
    • If my memory serves me right, it was the other way round - when PS 2022 lineup was released it was already confirmed that she plays Barcelona in May.
    • Cheers! And yep looks identical to Green day's scheduling
    • Reading all the feedback with interest.  If there are now 75,000 tickets officially sold, plus who knows how many more people blagging in - then on the Friday evening and Saturday in particular, it's not ridiculous to suggest there's 50,000 people at Mordor, which is a stadium gig - except with much worse sight lines, an inferior PA, and far less bars and toilets. The Thursday evening in 2022 was of course infamous but on the Friday night for Beck I was trapped about 150m from the stage, surrounded by chatters, and with no prospect of getting nearer the stage.  With hindsight that was when I realised the fest had one way or another fundamentally changed.  Also noting on Reddit that some folk didn't enjoy the Cure or Gorillaz because the sets were "too long".  In future bands may be better received if they actually just play their top 10 Spotify songs then get back off the stage.
