Any idea when the announcement will be lucky?

Good set of headliners, with the right undercard think it will do very well. Slipknot bringing in all fans that missed out on the tour and people that enjoyed it. Muse to bring a lot of new punters to the festival, great booking for download and Kiss will be a good oldie singalong.

Ok, I shall go for 6th time lucky for Muse but if the cvnts don't play Citizen Erased there will be a kick off a size never even imagined in England before. Your riots of a few years ago will be like a garden party in comparison. That.Is.All.

They're writing a "Citizen Erased 2" for the new album, so maybe they'll play both at the gigs, or maybe they'll just never play CE again and just play this "sequel" instead. They had the CE guitar out yesterday in the studio.

Glad it's out there, it's not come from me!

But I'll say it is right.

I'll also add Friday and Sunday days look great but Sat is weak IMO.

If you don't mind saying, which headliner is on which day?

Muse subbed by Faith No More would be great, but if they're headlining the "weak" day I'd guess someone like Slash subbing them.

Was that poster definitely a fake then? I know it's already been said it has but I assumed Slipknot would be headlining Sunday if it was.

That's what they're saying - yet my thinking is why would Gene post it and not know which day he's playing? Or did he tweet without looking ;)?

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
