They’ve kind of shot themselves in the foot having a large dance stage as the second stage as there’s a limited number of acts they can book in that slot. Although it’s a scene I know nothing about really. Who’s Prodigy/ Skrillex type size who could have played there? Disclosure? Chemical Bros? David Guetta Steve Aoki (are those two way too big?) chainsmokers? I’ve got no idea. It almost feels like they’ve just put it in place for the after hours stuff, although Leeds didn’t really need it. It will be v interesting to see how it goes down overall

Consumer spending accounts for around 60% of GDP - so if consumers don't spend more and buy more then GDP falls/suffers and spending plans of governments cannot be implemented. https://www.ey.com/en_uk/consumer-products-retail/changing-consumption-will-reshape-business-priorities There are enough homes already in the UK to house everyone that needs one - the government themselves did a survey and this is what it showed, I guess it is on the ONS site somewhere. Homes are like cars, to a lesser extent, we 'need' to build more but there are millions of cars sat on lots unsold all over the UK and we are told we need to build more. -
Let's get back on the bus with the 06Z! THROUGH TO GATES OPEN The weekend rain tracks south of the UK and hits the English channel. Still one to keep an eye on there, but in this run it's completely dry over the weekend and at the start of next week. Highs of 22-23 on Monday and Tuesday too ... which suggests high pressure is winning! GATES OPEN & WEDNESDAY 19-20 when gates open. Completely dry all day with highs of 24-25. Overnight temps into Thursday morning of 13-14. As you can see from the latest pressure chart (on the right), high pressure is firmly in control unlike on the 00Z (on the left). THURSDAY Completely dry, highs of 24-25. Overnight temps into Friday morning of 16-17. FRIDAY Completely dry, highs of 26-27. Overnight temps into Saturday morning of 17-18. SATURDAY Completely dry, highs of 24-25. Overnight temps into Sunday morning of 13-14. High pressure really is dominant. SUNDAY Completely dry, highs of around 24. SUMMARY Nothing more to say other than SCORCHIO!
