Fuck me, the map has been up for nearly a week and I've only just seen it!

Pennards just became a lot less appealing, although around the back of the field towards the healing fields might be okay.

What's Big Ground like everyone? Looks good from the point of view of it being a straight road down through William's Green/Acoustic/Circus Field/West Holts etc. all the way down to Stone Circle. However, bit put off by it being a bloody age away from the dance areas/JP stage and the late night areas.

I went in a cool bar tent which I swear was on the corner near where the 'W' of Williams Green is on the map, it had dj's playing and you could buy drink using your card.

Am I to assume this won't be there this year as it isn't marked up on the map? Not sure if it was marked up last year either mind!

Is it still impossible to get between South Park and the Park itself without going all the way around? The route is shown on the map but always seems to be sealed off, which is a ballache. seems like poor traffic management.

A bit more than that... :)

  • Extra lock-ups in Lower Mead
  • New Lockup at the Other Stage medical centre
  • Short Stay car park added in SE corner, near Orchard Gate
  • Lounging + Viewing area is bigger
  • Glade Lounge added + 'stage' label added the The Glade itself - the earlier map seems to contradict that the Glade was back in the trees.
  • Much more back-stage in Arcade + slightly more markets
  • West Campervan field has shrunk

Gutter they seem to have moved the property lock ups from Kidney mead and Big Ground :( , where we were camped last year the one in Kidney mead was really handy, they seem to have moved this back above the Kidz field and the Big ground one is at the very top? Or maybe I've got that wrong, perhaps just the scaling. Certainly looks like the Kidney mead one has moved anyway.

Hmm, there seems to be a 'Mutoid Waste' label added to Glebeland too. I'm glad they've expanded the viewing area, though I didn't think it was ever that packed that it needed it.

    • Skylink is 24 hours... But the skylink will drop you off at Pegasus business Park or EMA (East Midlands Airport) where you'll have to use the Download shuttle link, which isn't 24 hours. The last shuttle from the Download transport hub to EMA is 12:15 TrentBarton / Local bus info here: https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/download2026   Skylink Derby / Leicester / Loughborough timetable here: https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/services/skylinkderby  Shuttle timetable here: https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/userfiles/hotel.pdf If you miss the shuttle, which is very doubtful, you'll just have to find another way to EMA / Pegasus business park, maybe a taxi. You could even walk to EMA from the Download transport hub, wouldn't take too long. Just make sure you use the airport's 'circular path' instead of the dangerous roads.  I walk the circular path often, it's nice and easy. I would post instructions but I very much doubt you'll miss the shuttle, and if you do, it isn't hard to work out. The footpath is clearly signposted from directly opposite / across the road from where the download map has labelled "Pickup and Drop Off Exit."
    • So for Harry Styles it was actually a plastic bag that basically blocks the view of the front and back cameras. You can still use the phone screen. It's much easier than using lockers, especially for people leaving for the last train etc    I think it's basically reliant on the threat of security kicking you out if you start filming.
    • Hey, does anybody have a joining link for the WhatsApp group plz? I know the secret sets get posted there but have a new phone and number
