Weirdly it's something all my family love as well - me at 30, my brothers are 20 and my parents in their early 50s! Even my 82 year old granny has made enquiries about whether she'd enjoy it

I guess I just cant imagine watching all the rape, paedophilia and castration scenes with my parents.

It'd be far too awkward to have a w*nk.

Yes, we watch it with our 20 year old son, and we're in our 50's (actually hubby is now 60).

Great episode and all, but how the fuck did the line

'You want the good girl, but you need the bad pussy'

firstly, get into the script, and secondly, stay there. Possibly the worst line ever uttered on TV. And that's in a world that has Hollyoaks

Yep. Cringing stuff.

my friend told me that Dorn was great in the books and to expect a lot of it in this series, and what with Oberyn being such a great character i expected really great things but yeah, even though there (thankfully) wasn't too much of it in the series, every scene set there was pretty shite and i honestly didn't care what was going on. the most exciting thing to happen was Bronn being poisoned/looking likely to die, which was conveniently fixed the next episode with a magic potion (which we now realise was only to set up what happens to Myrcella)

exactly!

I know it was (probably) said in jest (what Rufus said), but isn't this the sort of thing that women and young girls are having to content with. A body that looks like that being considered not up to snuff?

it's all relative in Cersei's case.

Do you think Rufus's comment was specifically because it was Cersei?

This could be a case of me overthinking, but I can't do the 'some situations are ok to judge women and their breasts' thing

I don't know, how old is she supposed to be? for someone who has 3 children old enough to marry, it didn't seem that realistic - I was interested myself, though it was pretty obviously a body double.

I felt sympathetic towards her for pretty much the first time. She's a softly spoken psychopath, hiding behind a pretty face. But that was harsh.

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
