I expected at least half of Damon Albarn, Outkast, St Vincent, War on Drugs, Future Islands, The National, Wild Beasts, Real Estate, Hosts, Kurt Vile and Mutual Benefit.

To see none of them (so far) was a surprise! Other than The National who'd obviously already confirmed they weren't playing.

Still, the lineup is good, and there are 24 acts on there that i'd love to see, so i'm not complaining too much!

And even if the lineup was terrible (which it never could have been), it'd free up more time to roam around and experience everything else Glastonbury has to offer!

cheers guys, would certainly love to see Haim again, thought they were great last year and really took in the glastonbury festival. already looking forward to the next batch of bands to be announced

You might want to reset that expectation on 'plenty of huge' names - think that's most of the upper parts of the bill covered in today's announcement. Plenty to come, of course, but not a whole heap of them will be marquee names.
