V Festival lineup

I went to V in 2006, the northern one, and enjoyed it. The line up was ok. I smuggled a bottle of vodka into the "arena" each day so wasnt held to ransom too much and it overall it was fine. I suspect the southern one has a much worse atmosphere.

I went last year (got two free tickets) for the Brum one and atmos wasn't as bad as I'd expected (was my first time). Got to see Basement Jaxx and James, and er... Two Door Cinema Club... Steve Angello. Justin Moorhouse was very good in the comedy tent!

I went in 2010 I think for my first fest and it was alright, spend a lot of my time in the smaller tent but I managed to see Jamie T, Florence & The Machine, Frightened Rabbit, Passion Pit, Temper Trap and a few others.

typical v fest lineup, would take a few of those acts to glasto though. Would love to see Train. You can certainly see what acts are doing the festival rounds this year and expect to see at glasto...miles kane, elbow, nutini. Im going to get slated for this but i went and seen Bastille last night in Plymouth and im going to say i bloody loved it, great gig.

Having been to both, they're pretty much the same - just scousers at one site, essex boys and girls at the other.

On the flipside least likely is Human League and M People.....no one should be made to listen to M People, ever though perversely I wouldn't mind Human League in the hope that they'd do Together In Electric Dreams which is if you believe in guilty pleasures, my ultimate one.

I saw them a few years ago (yes at V) and they did do Together in Electric dreams - it was brilliant :-)

Aye, I was there and it was one of the highlights of the festival - I thought that they were awesome. Would definitely like to see them at Glastonbury.
