Ooohhh... exciting times. So by the end of the week I'll know whay time I've got to be in Lime St when I really want to already be at the festival. Really hope it's very, very early, pailn in the arse to get there or not but I suspect it will be 9am, same as usual.

I kind of see it that they will announce the same amount this year. You would have thought with a headliner as big as the stones they wouldn't need to spill so many bands to entice people to pay the rest of the money. Were if this year the headliners aren't as strong they might want to show they have a higher number of good bands to fill it up.

Either way no one will know and I'm sure will be many nice surprises for everyone

To be honest, the small amount of 'officially confirmed' acts makes me think the line-up announcement will be fairly late this year. Perhaps due to the issues regarding the Saturday headliner.

They've announced it in May before, so it wouldn't be new. Personally still think it will happen just before the resale, but as I said if they haven't nailed down the Saturday headliner yet I can't see them announcing anything.

    • Wednesday is a nice addition imo
    • Kronenberg in a tent as well IIRC but Brooklyn Pilsner was easier to get without queueing and was everywhere across the festival.
    • I think they'll end up doing something due to pressure and bad PR. Maybe they do a discount code for next year or bar credit or something along those lines.    I agree though. I acknowledge that the lineup is huge but surely you can't cancel 33% of the headliners and not reimburse in some way. Their insurance will probably cover their fees for MA, Doja, Bad Gyal and Mac DeMarco due to force majeure.
    • Looks like nothing for weekend ticket holders. You'd expect a goodwill gesture.
    • Enough has been covered about how much of a sh*t show that was, so I'll just say, Massive Attack and it's relationship with this festival (and potentially me) are f**king cursed.    They were announced in 2020 when I first got excited about seeing them. They were subsequently on the poster for 21, 22 and now 26. This time I was in actually in the crowd close to the stage waiting for them twice haha. I give up!
