I've been mulling over seeing Metallica over Dexys for a while now, this came to a head last night, when I was drinking with a group of metalhead friends who were ready to put my eyes out for the crime of even considering watching anybody else. I now think it'll come down to how I feel about being at the Pyramid stage (not overly fond tbh) after Jack White finishes. There's no question it'll be an amazing show, but I don't want my enjoyment of it to be spoiled like the Arctics last year.

Well I sort of agree with what Turner and Marr and the like are saying that it's a strange one for Glastonbury as a year ago anyone would have said that and the big thing about the performance is proving doubters wrong. Bombay Bicycle Club bashing it saying they wanted Prince and Kanye instead and the lineup's disappointing is shit though. Fuck those guys.
