Who would sub Metallica? Perhaps QOTSA or Biffy, although Biffy may now be beyond the level of subbing festivals after Reading and Leeds last summer.

Biffy would have been great but English exclusive to IoW and arguably another band that could headline for the firstime.

If all this is actually going on, surely they risk losing Metallica? Don't know obviously but wouldn't you be getting a bit pissed off being told you're headlining the other stage, then the main stage, then the other stage again but only if Prince decides he can swing by that night.

Don't know how big Metallica's ego is on the whole, but jesus they are messing with (arguably) one of the biggest acts in the world.
