just need to re kindle this!

was at a talk featuring Greg Wilson last night and I asked him if he was at glastonbury this year, turns out he is playing Stonebridge, Genosys AND Beat Hotel across the weekend :)

Fill your boots disco people.

also proves just how much there is still to announce if you are a general fan of dj's / dance music

Wonder where Lucy will be playing as I can't see her on the line up.

Could see very early Other or JP, maybe Acoustic/Avalon. Not too sure, she's not on the line-up

Was there any indication of which day on her tweet? I can't access that stuff from here.

No indication from her tweet, just said how she was over the moon to announce she was playing Glastonbury. She also hasn't updated her website with the date yet.

Brilliant! Missed him last year and was hoping he'd be back. And agree, does show there's still some quality DJs to be added.

She played under Stornoway in Avalon last year so would think something similar, or maybe early on The Park?

Wouldn't be surprised to see her guest with Bombay Bicycle Club too....

Yes on that basis I'd guess Rae Morris will be there as well and may do a small set of her own somewhere else. Could be a few interesting collaborations this year.

Good shout that, I'm a little smitten with Lucy Rose so looking forward to this, assuming the restraining order isn't enforced at Glastonbury! :)

The police seem to be a bit more lax with most things at Glastonbury so hopefully you'll be ok :)

    • I've come across a few this weekend saying Deftones aren't big enough for Download.   I would recommend b&b hotel hbf the night before....cheap, comfortable and very decent. Within 10 minutes from the station and a tram stop outside to jump on...all travel is free during the festival time as well with a kombi. Lidl is very good and cheap I can't lie....€6 for a chair with carey handle, €20 with a bag too...you can work that out yourself.   If you camp, get up at 5am and go to the queue....literally don't question it as now I know.     The travel wise part is easy when you get the hang of it and I've never had an easier exit from a festival today tbh. We were camped in the turn left section but past the registration and to get water you have to come right out.   Opening up an exit through he camp at least by Friday morning when everyobe is there would be much better but you csnt walk through general if you're green and sonon.   I think the issue for me probably too is I have never taken like a mutliple litre water too, I've always done a 6 pack water from like poundland lol but you definitely need it. I had one shower that was cold lol   Talking of getting into the front, Volbeat was the only easy one, for Maiden and especially Linkin Park if you weren't in the queue for it by at least the last quarter ot Architects you had no hope....it was shocking. I do like orbit to sit down. I had to decide to sack off Within Temptation too or no chance.   Second stage biggest gripe is the faff of walking all the way round when VIP or whatever it is literally get access to each bit. I did read tbh before going people though RIP/Ring was turning too much the wrong way.   Also as a side note, caught some of Limp Bizkit last night too and they are not headliner but any distance at all. Yes they pull a crowd...they would do with LP finished but on the grand scale its a super weak booking. Stop, start for video recordings all the way through a headline set?, 1hr 15 minutes and you can't play for that time. I'm so glad they were not chosen to headline main.   On another thing, if RIP played it right they'll get GC and Avril to sub/second stage headline on the Blink day.   Toilets and cleanliness is a big plus I will say that.
    • Any of the likes of Keo, Basht. and Cardinals could all fit in here.  Although they’re the sort of bands that could fit many of the stages at Glastonbury
    • Glasto loves a come back act - how about the Rapture?
    • Yeah mentioned in the park thread but feel more Woodsies to me
