Chic...

So I've just watched an interview with Nile Rodgers on BBC from last November where he mentions Glasto and how amazing it was. (He also said they told him there was over 50,000 people there and they had to close the path off for only the second time in history! Is this true?!)

Anyway, it was an incredible night. They've got to come back this year right? Where could they play...personally after seeing Arcade Fire at the roundhouse last year Chic would be a perfect sub to get the party atmosphere going.

It was a big crowdbut I didn't see anywhere closed off? (Unless he meant the path through the Middle of West Holts, as the crowd stretch over the other side of that).

Was a great night, I had good fun but I think it's bit to soon for him/them to come back. (Aside from Nile's cameo appearance with Daft Punk's secret set :P) It's not like his going do a much different set list is it?

They didn't close the path. I went for a shit mid gig and walked around the entire field, behind the stage and all the way back around to the back of the field.

Was packed mind you. Thousands of temporarily neutered people dancing around to the same weak as piss disco guitar riff for 90 minutes.

I ain't no rockist, just Chic ain't my thing.

Was meant tongue in cheek - I appreciate that the guy's a legend. I think my Nile abuse is mild compared to Russy's.

    • The first half of that game was cracking but then I fell asleep at half time. Maybe that's just the momentum of things.

    • A win is a win but it was a very poor game with only 4 shots on target in the whole game. Scotland obviously handed a massive bonus with Brazil and Morocco drawing but I don't think either of them will be too worried.
