I would have thought they wouldn't travel to Europe twice, one at each end of the Summer. And just because V might not have booked them as an exclusive, it doesn't mean they won't play anywhere else.

I Need to see The Killers live again soon. Would love it to be at Glasto, but can't see it somehow. I'm sure Neil would have caught a whiff if they'd been mentioned as being in the mix. Makes a trip to Vfest look tempting along with a couple of other good bookings on their lineup.

V Festival directors Bob Angus, Simon Moran and Dennis Desmond commented: “We’re very excited to announce the V Festival line-up, and proud to bring headliners Justin Timberlake and the Killers, following on from their sold-out Wembley Stadium show in 2013, with both headliners summer festival exclusives

Like the Arctics they're a pretty good singles band who could string together enough resonable songs to make them interesting live if you've never seen them before. If you have or they tried to play more obscure stuff I imagine it would be rather dull.

God no. They were ok in 2007 as long as you were near the front (I went half way through to go to the loo and couldn't get back in through the mud so ended up at the back where the sound was so bad I went back to the tent) but everything they've released since has been utterly shite. Do people really like their last two albums? Sounds like euro-pop to me.

I think V are quite fussy with their English exclusives and that's demonstrated by them booking The Killers for the thousandth time. Certainly can't see them showing up at Worthy Farm and I don't imagine anyone 'rumouring' them will have much to go on other than them still existing.

They were excellent in 2005 when they subbed White Stripes I think.

2007 was very average as already stated due to the wind and the sound problems.

Arctic Monkeys put their 2007 shambles behind them last year but they've just made a very good album.

The Killers are good but need a decent new album to get themselves back on top of their game i reckon.
