They were really, really, really good last night. Played 5 new songs plus R U Mine? (which IMO doesn't count...) and they all sounded awesome. Snap Out Of It was great and the run of Arabella > Pretty Visitors > Dance Floor worked so well & was out of this world. Kinda bummed they ended on 505 though as I was hoping they'd change it up a bit, oh well.

I though Alex commanded the stage well & it was actually kinda cool when he put the guitar down & just sang. Crowd was loving it, and it was actually a lot better than I thought in terms of singing along, movement etc considering who could've been there.

Nobody got let in from standby apparently

Everyone was singing along, waving their hands, jumping around & stuff, so yeah it was decent. Not particularly crazy, no mosh pits or anything, but then I was kind of expecting that.

Considering it could've been full of people who'd won tickets just because they enter all the competitions, I was pleasantly surprised. I was speaking to the security guards outside & they were saying it was pretty busy (basically everyone who had a ticket turned up) but that it was nothing compared to Bastille the night before, which was crazy.

Peter Crouch was in the seating upstairs :P

They really need to stop ending on 505, I know its kind of a tradition but its never been one i've been particularly fond of. I think they have got better at setlists though, in the past they used to be terrible but they've been getting better just please start ending on something else

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
