Download would be way too strong. Jane's Addiction would sub, so would Deftones and probably even Limp Bizkit, and I think NIN would headline something like Download although I can't see them or Foos ever wanting to do Download.

I wonder if Download will chase Van Halen again this year. Seemed almost in the bag last year. I wonder if Luckysalt's been hearing anything about their headliners yet.

I think you're probably right about Jane's Addiction and Deftones subbing, but not so sure about Limp Bizkit. And NIN have subbed Sonisphere, which is a lot smaller than Download, so I'm not so sure they'd have to headline.

That friday would probably be my favourite festival day so far though.

No 'dance' headliner since 2002 with The Prodigy - what are the chances of one in 2015?

-Chase and Status (Subbed in 2013 so could make the step up, perhaps a little too soon though?)

-Pendulum (Headlined NME in 2010 and have a new album this year, but reportedly will not be touring.)

-The Prodigy (Will be six years since they subbed in 2009 and are playing Global & Sonisphere this year.)

-Daft Punk (Probably will never happen, haven't toured since 2007 and would probably be too expensive to book.)

-Skrillex (Headlined NME in 2013 and released his first album this year, only imagine his shows work in the dark so will either have to play main or headline a tent again?)

I don't know. Eminem seemed to manage doing essentially that. Though, granted, he is a much bigger act.

calvin harris was actually quite good when he first started. his live shows were decent and quite fun. However now he just really isnt a headliner. Maybe a Co-headliner in the Euro system with him playing after a huge act but no he wont ever headline reading.

When I saw him he had a band with him. It was in 2007 at the daft punk day of wireless Leeds.

He also decided to eat a bowl of cornflakes in the middle of his set. The guys changed......

Yeah I was just watching this from his Glastonbury '07 peformance. Still nowt amazing but much better than what he is now.
