Yeah that's the main reason I pointed it out, he would pack out the main stage. Teenage girls for some odd reason love him & that's now the main demo graph

It's not the main target, in fact R+L have much more than the one group of girls to please or else the three headliners would not involve Metallica or the other rumored suggestions. It's a difficult festival to get 100% right because the people that go are all completely different but yeah Ed would pack the main stage and so would many others that aren't for the 'girls with short jean shorts'

Im watching the BBC Music awards. You guys are music fans... can someone please tell me what it is that makes one direction so popular?? They are clearly the biggest band in the world right now and I feel im missing something here, to me they are nothing better then any of the other boy bands.... I don't get it?

Catchy, accessible pop music performed by an extremely marketable group of people.

    • I got in for £11.25 in the end, which was absolutely ridiculously good value, and made the queues and overselling of the venue much more tolerable! Sniping in on other people’s unwanted tickets on the day of an event might become my new hobby I think 🥳
    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
