Actually 2008 has to be the best year ever.

2008 would have been even better getting rid of The Killers & having Bloc Party headline.

(Sorry I'm not defining days & bands because I'm on my phone, but wow, wasn't 2008 amazing).

2008 was fantastic, having Biffy, QOTSA & Rage on the friday.

The sunday that year could have been one of the best days but then Slipknot pulled out and BMTH were replacements and they were terrible.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
