Trying my hardest to stay away from the discussion just incase it leaks or someone comes forward with information... Proving difficult.

This is my favourite festival announcement of them all, as we usually don't have a clue until the final minute.

But they'll churn out 7 predictable as fuck acts whatever happens, so it won't be too exciting.

Why is Zane Lowe chatting shit before he finally tells you the announcement better than just reading before hand?

They've been very good live both times I've seen. Think these guys are just too damn cool.

I've not seen them for 10 years now but I remember complaints from people at Sonisphere about how they were miming and how they just randomly left the stage so one of their side projects could preform during the middle of the headline set.

Yeah I heard about the miming thing, I think it was just the DJ adding in bits, mainly screams that Chester couldn't do anymore.

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
