Chiefski your line up is well balanced and has a good mix for both guitar and pop fans to see something at all times. T would never put on something so sensible

After Trent Reznor's hissy fit at Reading about not headlining I doubt they would play Tuts but if they did it would be amazing. I don't think teh headline full production set would fit in teh Tut's stage though so the only place they could play IMO is R1 headliner.

I was thinking Paramore might sub behind Biffy Clyro. It's the only way I could see them in a decent slot at T.

Nine Inch Nails headlining the Radio 1 on the night of the more poppy act would be a good choice, or even in Tuts.

EDIT: Surely Calvin Harris' stage production was more lavish than the current NiN one?

The Manics were great headlining Rockness 2007 , I was at Daftpunk wondered outside and couldn't go back in so wondered between the two stages as Daftpunk had to get the sides of the tent rolled up so I had the best of both worlds .

Example was shite at Rockness this year a poor headliner , so I can see him still being 3rd or 2nd from the top at T !!

It's the same slot basically. If The Prodigy didn't do the NME slot, they'd do the main sub slot.

They are not too big, if Bruno Mars can do it, they certainly can.

All of those I've mentioned IMO are int he right spot, whether they all play or not is a different thing but bar Example being in there. I see all of those playing ahead of QOTSA.

Hard to take that poll seriously. I reckon the headliners are probably as close to sealed as you can get anyways.

Lots of people seem to be overestimating QotSA at the moment. Especially at a festival like T in the Park.

I'd say if you're too big to sub main stage, then you're also too big to headline the Radio One. I'd say those two slots are pretty similar in size. Might even give the edge to the sub-main slot, given who have been playing those slots the last couple of years.

The darkness factor is the only reason then wouldn't sub main, they're not too big for that slot at all. Neither are QOTSA.

QotSA headlined festivals which simply don't have the depth that T does. They'd be a good sub headliner on a bill which is aimed at more heavier music fans. They're not as big as Arctic Monkeys here, so subbing behind them wouldn't be bad at all. I'd actually be surprised to see them that high on a T bill. Remember that the sub headline slot is a big slot at T. The Script, Chase and Status and Stereophonics are all big deals. Probably all of them are bigger deals than QotSA at the moment.

The likes of Prodigy and QOTSA are already playing bigger slots than a sub on Main at the major festivals in Europe. Prodigy can do their own outdoor gigs, and QOTSA are already getting this type of headline slot at festivals.

Changing the subject, I found it strange that Arcade Fire weren't in the top 3 dropdown lists. I picked Bowie but think the chances of him playing are slim to non existent. Springsteen will have finished his Wrecking Ball tour by the time of T 2014 so can also be written off as a possibility.

Also, that's not "different" in any way. It's the most predictable trio there is for next year.

And why not Arctic Monkeys? They seem the most obvious to me by a mile for next year.
