Seen someone posting in the DL forum about some July festivals waiting to hear back from RATM about playing, could TITP be one of them? Wouldn't think they were in the current target audience they have been trying to build but could be a change of direction and they have a lot of history with the festival being the first ever headliner so maybe a possiblity

I'd be happy with McCartney, if only to have a wee sing song to the Beatles stuff.

I'm not really a fan of The Beatles but there's no doubting that that would be a massive booking. Can't really see it happening though.

I can't see rage or mccartney playing looking at recent years but you never know I guess.

After listening to KOL new album I'd take them as a headliner, as long as the other two weren't completely naff.

The middle one may change. Rage Against the Machine doesn't seem that unlikely at all. They had a belter last time and they'd be happy to play again as a result and T would be happy to book them.

I can certainly see a leftfield or big one being announced. Rihanna and The Stone Roses have filled that spot, whether you like either of them or not. Daft Punk would probably fill BOTH of that criteria, and Rage would do likewise and both would provide a good set with a good crowd ( lots of day tickets would go for Rage which would ensure a decent sized Rage following ).

Lady Gaga probably isn't out of the question. Personally wouldn't want to see it, but it would make some sort of sense. Katy Perry or Arcade Fire would be my absolute dream suggestion, and I'd hope Katy Perry would at least play somewhere. A Biffy clash would be idea as I've seen them on the Opposites tour.

Muse is another possible, but with one Euro festival, I don't think it's gonna be a UK one.

If Daft Punk are available T will get them, they are such a big draw and they have the high mainstream appeal now with Get Lucky that could pass as a 'pop' headliner, Biffy are surely another one after impressing at R/L and not having played for a few years, the other headliner is the one i'm not sure about but could be any off a list Arcade Fire, Arctics, KOL, Gaga, Green Day, RATM, Bowie... of course this all depends on Daft Punk and Biffy touring but I reckon that list is about the scope for next year unless they pull someone really left field out the bag

Do people think Biffy Clyro will do next year? No new material since their last tour (which has literally only just finished). More likely for 2015 imo. (Also my opinion might be swayed by the fact that im not meant to be doing festivals next year and Biffy are my favourite band and i want them to have a year off too)

They can headline Glastonbury, no doubts about that. If Kasabian are being talked about as possible headliners then Biffy can do it.

I can still see them breaking for next yr, writing another album and being back in 2015 headlining a couple of Uk festivals

Erasure on main stage isn't the worst shout in the world. It'd not be the best slot in the world but I could see them on there.

NGHFB would never sub anyone on a second stage either I don't think.
