Surely T wouldn't be ACDC's preference as they would rather play download or at least Reading and Leeds. Can't see them doing more than one festival really if they did do somewhere

I guess in terms of the musical direction of the fest but I reckon a Scottish fest appearance would go down a storm with the band and fans especially since the two founding members are Scottish

There is an ACDC festival every year at Kirriemuir. I forget the name of it but I think it's on or around his birthday. They have tribute bands playing. How cool would it be if they actually played that.

Three of them were Scottish - Bon Scott from Kirriemuir, and Young brothers Angus and Malcolm (Glasgow born).

I think there is a statue of Bon Scott due to be unveiled in Kirriemuir in the near future. Wouldn't that go down well with a date at T?

I didn't include Bon Scott since he's no longer with us but very true and that would go down very well or even 2015 since that will be 25 years since his death, I love the optimism around TITP next year, it fills me with hope

November is a very gig heavy month, I wouldn't be surprised if 1 or 2 are named come the end of it.

T in the Park tend to have rockier bands when there's a rockier band headlining one of the nights. I'd guess Biffy Clyro will fit that description. Which would coincide with the idea that more rock bands will play next year.

i'm fairly confident of a more rocky headliner set this year

i cant think of any bonafied pop headliners who'll be about next year.

unless you want to go the more risky route with lady gaga, calvin harris, katy perry etc.
