Something for everyone in them 3 headliners.

There is a clammer for Arcade Fire / Kasabain because they are seen as the pretenders to the throne. You never know we could get the mythical 4th headliner in 2014

Yeah next year will sell out no problem. But if they get a set of headliners that aren't popular then it pisses it down all weekend you can almost guarantee that demand for the following year will significantly drop. In terms of the lineup its as much an advertisement for the next year as it is for the people who are playing.

i'd be happy with elbow, dm & fm. wouldn't watch any of them but if it was well known on T day then shouldn't be any worse than normal getting a ticket.

if it was someone like led zep or daft punk and it was common knowledge then it will push the demand right up. I'd rather not know either way until my tickets booked.

As stated earlier and by many many others..... Glastonbury is not just the music it's the whole experience of the weekend I go for. If there is a band I like then bonus. I would still go no matter who the headliners were. If I don't like them then there are plenty of other acts to see, areas to explore etc

Elbow, Depeche Mode, Fleetwood Mac would be more than acceptable for me.

I am only a one song Elbow fan, but seeing them in 2011 was an immense moment for me and I would be happy to see them again because Guy Garvey is a good live performer, that's enough for me to enjoy their set.

Depeche Mode I am a big fan, but have never seen them live, but will be doing so in Leeds in November and would be happy to see them live at Pyramid. Watching their live DVDs I think they look great and put on a good show.

Fleetwood Mac, I am a hits fan only, but on a sunny warm evening, I think they would be great.

No point in crying over those three though. For me Arctics are a 2 song band and Mumfords a one song band, but I didnt get pissed off, because Glastonbury isnt a one or two stage festival. At the very worst case scenario I bet I could go and enjoy a film at Pilton Palais if there was absolutely no music, comedy, cabaret on at all for me.

Great track (imo)

Elbow - seen several times before. Would be more than happy to watch again, but wouldn't mind if missed for someone else.

Fleetwood Mac - I'd be there, in the inner circle, early for a good spot.

Depeche Mode - Interesting. Not sure. I seem to remember watching a 'brits in the states' type TV programme and seem to recall that for a while DM were the 'biggest touring band' in the States' (or something like that). The Wikipedia write up on them is fascinating.

The stats are impressive, very impressive, and on that basis they would be worthy headliners

Not sure how many youngsters were into Neil Young or Bruce Springsteen in 2009.

I think people just expect ultimate mega headliners every year but The Stones, Led Zep and U2 aren't around all the time. Glasto books the headline acts that it can/are available. Sometimes they get someone huge, sometimes they get someone smaller.

If you don't want to go based on those headliners alone then fine by me, it'll make ticket day much easier :)
