The only position I've noticed a shortage of black players in is Goalie. Otherwise it seems fairly proportionate to me.

Your probably right if looking at black players as a whole. I think if broken down to black British there is probably underrepresentation at centre midfield.

Negatives: The playacting and diving. Absolutely shameful stuff from both sides.

Positives: It's been quite a good open game. Real showing Atletico a lot of respect by throwing everyone behind the ball when Atletico attack. Their counter play has been decent, but not as fluid as we've seen it before. Gabi's goal to make it 2-1 was a total screamer.

I thought the league cup final was a decent game. I thought sunderland did well, but citys extra bit of individual talent pulled them through.

I thought the better team won. Lots of heart from Sunderland, but when City got those two goals, it didn't look like they'd even come close after that. City were just far too good in the end.

I'm really not sure about this "black players have a greater proportion on the wing" thing. Maybe English black players, but not in general.

Irrespective of race or creed, Paul Ince is IMO a pretty shit manager. Therefore he should be in league 1 or 2 at best. He was, however, England captain a few times.

Interesting piece about the Suarez release clause existing but not considered to hold any weight. Seems to fit in as well with the ukranian player (wont even attempt his name) that liverpool tried to buy in January but the club ignoring the release clause.

Paul Ince was never gonna be able to do anything at Blackpool. That's just a horrendous job for a manager at the moment. They're done this season.

Also as a stoke fan Charlie Adam deserves his punishment, two shocking tackles. Don't know why we are appealing. Shame Yaya didn't get the same treatment the other week though, another example of the top clubs being treated differently than the Lower clubs .

Pulis never sent players out to injure the opposition. Of course, he sent them out to be a bit "rough" but the intention wasn't to hurt.

Still bad enough of course, but it's up to the referee to deal with a side that does that. It's up to the club to deal with divers. They're doing that.

I don't really have a problem with Stoke, I have a problem with how Stoke were under Pulis. The media did exaggerate it, but Pulis encouraged thuggish football. Not old-fashioned football, but thuggish.
