Any guesses as to what the queues to get into the festival will be like on Wednesday morning?

My sister and her 2 kids are first-timers and are hoping to be over on the East side queueing. Thinking it might be an idea for me to get onto site and then out through the re-entry queue at their gate to get the kids from her so she can concentrate on getting in. Is it even possible for me to do this? Thy're under 12 so haven't got tickets/don't need wristbands?

I've got a set of solar power fairy lights to attach to the outside of mine. Hopefully now that I've put that out there everybody else doesn't do the same ..............

Hi all excited isn't the word thought I'd treat myself to abit of worthy view this year but I do have 2 questions, do you have an extra wrist band to get into worthy view as it doesn't have the camping on your ticket, and also do you have to go Through a security checks every time you go to your tent and back to stock up on cans etc.

I don't expect that should be a problem, at most 5 mins. Everyone will have different times they want to head on site and as long as there's no lost tickets then it should be pretty smooth flowing. Wednesday being the only exception obviously!!

Yes you will have an extra wristband and yes you have to go through security checks each time. Or at least you did last time out anyway when it was myhab

I don't think Wednesday will be that bad, the great thing about WV is that is gives people the comfort of knowing that they dont have to turn up at 8am because they already have their tent pitched for them. It also gives reassurance to the people who cant arrive till Thursday.

I think it will be busy but nothing to worry about. The queues into site each day will be busiest around 11-1 each day, but I am expecting that Pennard Hill Gate will be slightly bigger to take account of the large number of people going through the gate. As someone who previously was in the East Campervan Field, we used to have to queue for at least 20-30 mins to get through gate C each day

That does look huge and quite a shlep to the Tipis.

Its nice to see Micheal sorting things out properly from the begining,ie new path.

I don't know how much land is available up there but I can only see it expanding every year which will give a welcome ease for the over crowded campsites within the fence.

If It does hoof it down one year it will be a welcome break from the quagmire down below,it being at the top of the hill and less traffic the conditions will be much better.

So eh... how are people planning to distinguish their tents from each other because that looks like a LOT of very similar tents. I've had people drunkenly decide my tent is theirs before (or claim that they were drunk.. could easily have been been planning on going through it).
