  1. I dunno, from that post it sounds like she could be in a borderline abusive relationship.
  2. I'm sorry you didn't get your tickets, but frankly if that's the way you talk to and treat your girlfriend, you don't deserve her and she would be better off without you.
  3. Agreed. I booked my tickets by tweaking the hosts file but can no longer connect. I think the best way forward now for people is to remove the change to their hosts file
  4. Same one as usual - http://glastonbury.seetickets.com - the hosts file edit just changes the way that request is handled. Edit - looks like they've blocked it - you need to remove the hosts file entry now to be able to connect to the website.
  5. Two things: 1) Did you Run Notepad as Administrator? 2) When saving, you need to change 'save as type' to 'All files'
  6. Sorry! It worked for me - but it's all over Twitter now, so maybe there is no longer a time advantage as so many people are using it.
  7. I've never used a mac in my life I'm afraid. Hopefully someone else on here who's familiar with them will post, otherwise: https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=cr&ei=NCNRUr_JDaGe0QWmhYCACA#q=edit+hosts+file+mac&safe=off Once you've found the file, it's the same line you need to add, 194.168.131.174 glastonbury.seetickets.com
  8. I just got my tickets by adding 194.168.131.174 glastonbury.seetickets.com to my hosts file: Detailed steps on Windows 7: - Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Right click 'Notepad' and select 'Run as Administrator' - Click Yes at the prompt. - In Notepad, go to file -> open -> navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc - To the right of the 'file name' box in the 'open' prompt, there is a drop-down box that displays "Text documents (*.txt)" - change this to "All files (*.*)" - Select hosts - Scroll to the bottom of the file that opens, and paste in the following on a new line 194.168.131.174 glastonbury.seetickets.com - Make sure it's not prefixed with a #. - Save. EDIT: Change 'Save As' type to 'All Files' - otherwise it will not work - And then try loading the webpage again. I'd suggest changing the hosts file back once you've got tickets, to avoid any possible confusion in future years!
  9. Got in by adding the following to my hosts file: 194.168.131.174 glastonbury.seetickets.com (will post detailed instructions in a minute) Edit: Detailed instructions on Windows 7: - Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Right click 'Notepad' and select 'Run as Administrator' - Click Yes at the prompt. - Save. 10.     The holding page at http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/content/busy makes what I *think* is a valid point about multiple sessions screwing with the holding system. Trying multiple browsers instead.
