Addicted to efestivals

I smoke but Mrs GH doesn't and our house is a no smoking house. However I have a 'posh shed' in the garden where my computer lives and where I do marking and preparation. My frequency on here reflects my smoking.

I don't do any other social media/facebook/twitter type sites as I don't reckon people would be interested in my holiday pics etc. But I do enjoy a chat with like-minded festival goers.

This place was a lifeline for me when I was in a very bad place indeed - mentally and emotionally. For that reason I feel indebted to the site and those that run it. I think I'll always keep looking on here. It may trail off a little bit though as I've said to my girlfriend that I'll live more in the real world with her. That said, I just can't help coming back.

Ever since I found efestivals I have been addicted. I'm now a top 20 poster. I tend to stop using it after September though and don't come back on until the new year.

I used to use the TITP forum the most, although if you look at my sig you will that the last year I went there was the first I did Glastonbury :) use the Rockness forum but it's dead most of the time so the vast majority of my posts are on here now!

Yep i am here far too often really. My work allows me constant access to a computer so i am always checking in, our Mac seems to have me permanently looked in ! i like to be on top of things, but i dare say if it came to a year when i failed to get a ticket, and so far 4 years straight, then i probably wouldn't be on here as much.

This forum is like a little Glasto fix for the other 360 (or 725) days of the year(s) when we are not at the festival. It's like methadone for a heroin user.....reduces the cravings. I read stuff which is irrelevant to me, stuff which doesn't interest me and vote in polls in which I care not about the results. When the "chat" section is exhausted, I'll switch to "questions" to quench a thirst for new material.

Yep. I'm addicted.

    • I did get a little amusement at the idea that Infantino was upset Trump stood him up for the US opener last night given how hard he's been trying to get in his good books.   Tbf, I thought the Canadian roar at their equaliser was decent volume. Or maybe I just had my phone at a higher volume for it when I watched the highlights this morning.
    • Wonder if they’d ever headline Glasto again.  Would be very different a 2nd time around I reckon.
    • My mate is there now. She enjoyed them a lot but had never seen them before. Apparently there was an injury in the crowd near the end so took about 10 or so minutes to sort out. Hope the person is alright.    Feeder apparently drew a ridiculously huge crowd on the third stage.
    • This was never a surprise.   I'm hoping USA meet and lose to Iran in round of 16, just to really wind up Trump.
    • Watched this this morning -  absolute brilliance -  live show is peaking
