Disappointed me massively. The singles were alright the rest just... naff.

I just assumed extravaganza was his way of bigging up an act like all promoters do. I don't think it'll be any kind of 'special' booking like a joint set, just think he's saying it'll be a good night.

I think we're safe; Example's already headlining SW4, Global Gathering, RockNess, Parklife and Wakestock.

He did say he was headlining 7 festivals this year though! I can't see it, maybe campbestival.

I genuinely think arcade fire pulled out and can see something different from one 'bigger' band/act headlining, who? Fuck knows, just want it to be released

He said he was headlining "5 big UK festivals", I think. Whether Parklife and Wakestock count I don't know. He's also doing Sundown in Norfolk.

It could be him I suppose; he's on the same kind of level as Florence + the Machine, "the kids" love him, and he's playing Mallorca the night before. Perhaps the announcement's on hold while tickets are still available for his last remaining UK tour date (Bristol Academy, 6th June).

Some guy posted before the announcement that the headliners were Arcade Fire, Snoop Dogg & Elton John. When Snoop & Elton were announced people obviously believed he had some sort of inside info. Then, two members of Arcade Fire are pregnant, plus RDB has alluded to, but not expressly stated that he's had problems with securing the Friday night headline slot...

I think that's where it came from, but who knows what's really happening.

Was the 21st of May last year I think we got Florence announced, but by that time it was pretty much well known.

This year is definitely harder to pin down!

Example also once made a friend of mine do mkat and then threatened him with violence if he told he anyone, he was doing some backstage filming for uni course at the time! Horrible bastard that makes even more offensive music

I like QOTSA but I probably wouldn't go see them if they headlined. I've got a bit bored of them. Cracking live act though.
