I think the crowd will be OK. That Friday night has most of the best stuff on all weekend. The clashes are horrific so it will divide people.

BTW, I've had Get Lucky in my head ALL DAY. The Nile Rodgers influence burrows into my skull once more.....

For us older schoolers Nile Rogers was a facking genius back in his day and remains one, his track record in terms of both own tunes and productions of others' in incredible.

I can't wait for this gig and will definitely be there. Chic (feat. Nile) were brilliant at WOMAD (in 2009 I think), and they'll be even better at West Holts with a much bigger crowd going much more mental.

it's hinted at a non announced replacement act that is creating a lot of excitement and has today posted a photo of Nile Rogers and Daft Punk together. Obviously everybody is running off screaming DP are playing, but if anything maybe we'll get the new single performed, however you'd think DP would be a secret guest and just come on if they were going to do it?

She's up all night to the sun.

I'm up all night to get some.

She's up all night to have fun.

I'm up all night to get lucky.

That's fucking poetry right there folks.

I think instead of using his own singers, he should just get all of the original artists to perform as guests.

Diana Ross, Madonna, David Bowie, Sister Sledge, Daft Punk, Sheila B Devotion etc.

And the resurrected corpse of Bernard Edwards on bass.

Anything less and I'll be leaving site on the Friday in protest.
