Two Cabernet acts I've always enjoyed are Nina Conti and her offensive monkey, and Woody Bop Murray and his record graveyard! Rrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!!!

Otherwise, we usually try to catch some circus and the main outside circus attraction display thingy, usually very impressive

One show that is burnt into my memory was a freak show which contained random acts of body piercing with a great variety of sharp objects and an encore of a bloke swinging a pair of irons from his genitalia. Standard afternoon entertainment at Glastonbury, you don't get that at V.

heard there was a mexican wrestling arena in 2011, and a wall of death. i somehow missed both though???? caught a good few acts in the circus fields though, very entertaining.

also caught mundo jazz on that little outdoor stage next to the entrance one way system, who were HILARIOUS !! seriously one of my biggest highlights, if you see them on the bill then get to see them, very highly reccomended. they are a mexican style comedy band, a bit cheech and chongish.

Some of my best nights at Glastonbury have come from wandering the place late at night and ignoring the proscribed 'naughty corner' theme park. This usually means the Circus fields, cabaret tent etc. Also usually means I have no idea who any of the acts I've seen are but yeah, there's great stuff going on there

I'd hugely recommend going to see the poet 'Paul Hamilton', who normally replaces comedian Kevin Eldon when he 'can't make it'. It'll be billed as Kevin Eldon on the board probably, but it's well worth seeing, especially to watch everyone walking out of the tent when they first announce that Kevin Eldon has been 'replaced'. :)

Look out for Mik Artistik's Ego Trip, he usually does a few performances over the weekend. Best described as comedy verse set to music. I stumbled across his act in 2010 during a wander around the site. Great fun!
